Hey so you got a police request!!?? thats great news right!?
btw iv been reading on the forums do they send back all your documents or something? like the photos and stuff or keep it?
Cuz my husbands shifting to another location for work which is about 5 hours from here. a totally different state in Malaysia. And the house will be vacated by next month so just wondering how to inform them of change in address for my husband? il be going back to canada so im gona change my address as soon as i land in Canada.
btw koifish76 is it possible for them to communiate via email rather then snail mail?

Definitely. Send them an email inquiry. In the subject line- your "file #" and also write "Address change". Also update/edit your ECAS address. Both are easy and recommended to do, the minute there is any change in address or job.
They should send you an email confirming they got your request.

It is great we are having communication with Singapore. Don't like the fact they asked for another police cert. but if it means it is near the end of their review, we are happy to oblige.

I think they do send back photos and some other original docs they don't need. People seem to get these along with passport request.

hi guys,
same old question
So i was reading the ppr request papers, and it said this " Visas can only be issued to a maximum validity of 12 months from the date of your most recent Immigration Medial Examination assessment " . My first medical examination was done back in October 28,2013 and i sent in my passport and requested documents today August 31,2014 ( which does not include a re-medical exam since they didn't ask for one , we did try getting one done but they did not allow us to send it with the documents ) .
So that means if a visa is issued to us,that means it will expired on October 28,2014 ? which is only 2 months away, but it takes them about 2 months to get passport back??? How will i have enough time to plan anything?
PLEASE HELP .
Thanks so much

This is best answered by an email inquiry. Ask for a little extension of a month or two. See what they reply.

Did SVO return all the pictures when they asked you to submit your passport by sending letter like us ?

If you submit your pp technically SVO can not hold the passport for a long time without giving visa like 3 months because you will not be able to visit other countries for urgent reason without your pp.

Shaw

No they didn't return any pictures, we chose the email option for all our communication...so maybe after they will return them.

Hello Shaw,

Our PP was received on Aug 26 at SVO.

fahimm,

Yes, SVO will return those afterward.

But are you sending your pp copy by email ?

Hi,

so disappointed to hear that. No word can heal your stress right now but mental strength is really needed to overcome..

Feel free to to share with us and be prepared for the interview. There's couple of thread on interview, one of them is :

I do hope (& pray) that you'll finish the immigration race soon.

Take care

Where did you apply from?

Are there any February applicant from Bangladesh here? I did not receive any additional document request nor any change in svo status. Seems all March applicants are getting good news. Any February applicant?

If you do not get your letter of PPR by postal registered mail within 3 week from the date your case went into In Process then enquire for your mail in your local post office. Because mistype of address by SVO on the mail is pretty common now-a-days.

It is an alert.
