Hey how do you know interview is waived do they tell you? And also does passport request come mail or email?

GCMS notes can show whether interview is recommended. Or interview recommended waived. And generally, if you see In process on ECAS, there is a very good chance no interview is needed.

Btw, how is your application so far? Any communication or requests from Singapore yet?

PP request ? May come, may not come.

If SVO mis-type your address over the envelop then it will not come, it will be sitting duck in the post office without your knowledge. 3/4 months delay.

Yes we're very lucky indeed. Happy to see total of 4 people, including myself, getting In Process/PPR in just 5 months or less.

Yes it shows Visa application, tracking ID No XXXXXXXXX Your Decision has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office,DHAKA on{Scandate) to the Canada Visa Application Centre DHAKA. You will get SMS & Email when your Decision will receive at Canada Visa application centre where it was submitted......:)

my ECAS still says application received only, didn't change to in process....maybe it will change to in process afterthey receive passport

Did SVO return all the pictures when they asked you to submit your passport by sending letter like us ?

If you submit your pp technically SVO can not hold the passport for a long time without giving visa like 3 months because you will not be able to visit other countries for urgent reason without your pp.

hows things going for you?

Hey guys ,

does anyone have any idea how to inform cic singapore of my husbands address change? He's going to be transferred to a new location and will be vacating our home now in 1 month time. So im wondering if i can request information be sent via email? Btw when they ask for passport God willing at some point, will it be through snail mail or email? Because mail services aren't always reliable.and my husband will be transferred in a few days and it will take atleast a month or so for him to get another place of residence. Could he give his hospital address then (hes a doctor) but its not where he resides. ITs just we lost a couple of our mails. His new transfer is 5 hour drive from here as well so its far.
thanks! :D

Hi Everyone! :)

My first post in this forum. I would like to share briefly on my case and timeline so we can catch up during the long journey.

I'm from Vietnam, PR application received in Singapore June 17, 2014 and still waiting. If there's anyone has the same timeline with me please keep posted.

FYI Some of ppl in a Vietnam's forum only took 6 months to get passport requested ( amazing quick).

I do really hope everyone is going to get yours soon! ;D

Can I submit my file without police clearance? If I submit it after one month It would be a problem? From Bangladesh

It is recommended you send with application. You can however send it when they request it, which would cause a delay. Dont send it a month later, because it could push your application back to the beginning.
