after applyin in end of april, today my wife got a passport request from svo...i am dumbfounded how fast they are asking for it

also a little worried, would they ask for passport for any other reason this quick?

Hi guys,
Here's a quick update to my case
They requested passport and police clearance 3 weeks ago, and I sent it today
The problem is my last medical exam was done back in October 28, so they didn't request for a remedical. But the problem is that it takes 2-3 months for them to process and return the passport, by that time the medical exam is already expired. Then what happen if they cannot return the passport prior to the medical exam expired?

No no, SVO asked to put visa on your pp. 100% guranteed.

As some of us here posted earlier that number of Spousal applicants have gone down in SVO especially from Bangladesh. Moreover I think the Assistant dealing Bangladeshi desk in SVO is newly appointed, though she mistype address in some cases but she is fast which is blessing for Bangladeshi applicants.

Hey, nice! Now nearly all March applicants are In Process or close to finish. What a turnaround from just a few months ago!

Yes we're very lucky indeed. Happy to see total of 4 people, including myself, getting In Process/PPR in just 5 months or less.

Do you know how long is from "in process" to DM? My application is in process on 23 May. After Remedical and submitted all required docs (passport, IMM5669, 4 passport-sized photos & payslip) on 03 July at VFS, I havent received any information from that day. Although in the letter I received on 23 May, it is said that do not contact SVO until 30 days passed. Today is 57 days passed, my ecas is still in process. Does anyone have the same situation like me. I m so worried

Don't worry my cic status also change after 57th day maybe Monday it will change insha-Allah....SOV send my passport Yesterday.....and hope they issue my ppr visa after 22th month waiting

Thank you but it's not possible coz it's take 4 working day to get the passport from vsf Dhaka hope for the best.best of luck

Hey how do you know interview is waived do they tell you? And also does passport request come mail or email?
