Is their any one who submitted their passport on mid June and still no update I am really very worried as my status still shows in process...and it's already 45days that i submitted my passport

We submitted in June 30, and got our passport back on Aug 6. (it went Decision Made three weeks after being submitted). The PPR form you got does say you can contact them after a month for a status update.

Maisha27, you may go your Canadian member of parliament office to make an inquiry. They are usually very helpful.

I did and already got the passport back from Singapore, it took me total of 5 weeks!

It you sent them your both new and old passports then there should not be any problem.

SVO informed me of the following about a month ago and your case may like one of them :

"We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. Please note that changes in the volume of new applications received, annual quota and the resources available to process them, can lead to longer processing times. Some applications, owing to their complexity, take longer to process than others. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is received by the Singapore visa office."

It you sent them your both new and old passports then there should not be any problem.

Prerequisite for using those: File Number: it is mentioned in the first email from Singapore to Principal Applicant

thank you so much.!! I actually made a mistake and am worried i sent the courrier to the robinson address because thats wat they sent me on my Letter of Approval from Mississauga...and i put the file number and uci in a letter inside the envelop not on top of it. so now im worried

I submitted my wife's sponsorship application at he end of this February (including medical e-receipt). Now after approving as sponsor, and file transferring to Singapore. Couple of days ago they emailed my lawyer to submit the medical examination and they also gave the instruction paper and the IMM1017 form (this form was not on the check list when I submitted). Does Singapore usually ask for Medical? What does this indicate? And on the instruction paper it was written "These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully." And they asked me to submit the medical in 60 days or lese they will refuse my application.

PLease someone help!!!

Did you check your ECAS? When was file transferred to Singapore? Did it state "medicals results received"?
If not, then there was probably a problem with something and they are asking for a new medical. Most of us have to re-do it anyways at some point. Take solace in knowing they are working on your file.

Also, I would order GCMs notes, which will come in 30 days, although I would not wait that long to do the medical again.

The file was transferred on April 30, 2014 and o ecas it only says "We received **'s application for permanent residence." And the form they sent me, they filled it for me with her information on it. What I heard from someone is that they ask for the medical when they are done done with back ground check and all other things.

Most probably a bhoot from Bangladesh ?

I think your case is in final review ( excellent sign as your case is going at superfast ) if they ask for re-medical!

Lol yes I am a Bangladeshi and so my wife is. And that's the 1st name came to mind while creating the account. Please pray for us that In Sha Allah our application is on the final stage and she can come here ASAP. and one of my friend also brought his wife in just 10 months. So I'm hopeful.

No m wife did her re medical today with the form Singapore sent, and the doctor said they will send it to Singapore. Hopefully when they will receive the med it will be in progress then.
