My wife's from Vietnam, and after seeing your case go so quickly, it gives us hope that ours will too. Well I feel even more optimistic after my wife got approved for a TRV, and you know as well as I do, how hard it is for vietnamese to come here on a visitor visa, so I'm feeling really good about the processing times from Singapore.

Its just that I'm sponsoring my spouse when i just finish school, didn't have any income .
Did you get anything back from SVO? from others timeline it seems like i should get some package from SVO the same day as the ecas change into In Process

I did not get any thing from SVO yet. I hope to get PPR by the end of this week or next week. Yes SVO will return our pictures, documents with PPR, but not on same day ECAS go into in Process. Geneally people get is within 2 weeks since the ECAS go into in Process.

Wish you all well.

Just wondering guys do you think income plays a role? I mean im currently here with my husband so just wondering if I go back and get employed etc if it would help....?

Friends,

Have a question. I will be landing with my wife in 2 days in Montreal.

She is bringing lots of her clothes, books mainly and nothing on electronics. The only concern of mine is jewelery.

Should we just carry them on the carry on luggage and at Canadian border just hand them the B4 form saying jewelery of $xxCAD, thats it?

Thanks

don't think so... at our interview, they ask why my income was low but I can afford to visit my wife 2 times a year...They just made sure that i didn't get pay to come...

I asked this a few pages back. Didn't get a response. Maybe others will be kind to share how they sent additional docs. I am waiting for my gcms notes first though. I don't have any communication from Singapore though, so no uci for my wife (applicant). Am curious to know how and who to address the mail or email to. :-[

Hi,

You've two options: 1. Online 2. By mail

Prerequisite for using those: File Number: it is mentioned in the first email from Singapore to Principal Applicant

Option 1:
Case Specific Inquiry form is used at the url below:

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=singapore

Note that, due to technical glitches, this option is currently available!

Option 2:

You can use either regular mail or courier service. I prefer the courier one.

Use the address below, if you choose the courier service:

High Commission of Canada
Immigration Section
One George Street, #11-01
Singapore 049145

Use the address below, if you choose the regular service:

High Commission of Canada
Immigration Section
P.O. Box 845. Robinson Road
Singapore 901645

Whatever method you use, don't forget to write the File Number on top of the envelope.

Btw, the SVO office address url is :
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/singapore-singapour/contact-contactez.aspx?lang=eng
