there's a possibility of course but it is very low. they don't refuse (very rarely) u, once they ask or passport.

but remember they can always ask for more documents and in return u have to wait for more days.

more months they take, more documents expire like police clearance & medicals. then again they ask for those. so again u have to run to police stations and doctors that means many more months of waiting.

That really sounds uninteresting! ???

When i check the application status for my wife it says:

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on April 30, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

I am feeling excited, since they already requested medical :D:D

but i know that it doesn't mean they are processing the application right away...

My application finally went to "In Process' on 14 July 2014. My medical report already expired in Feb 2014. I guess CIC might request for re-medical and police certificate at the same time. I wonder how long it will take for them to contact me to provide those documents. Any advice will be appreciated.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Hi Tulip

Congrats.

I deserve a thanks for my following right prediction about you on June 29 :

(Hi Tulip

I am pretty sure from my understanding from the observations in this forum that you are waived from interview. Some applicants applied after you got interviews. SVO put applicants in interview lists at the initial review of application. You initial review is over. So, just relax. I think you will get PPR within couple of weeks in next batch.

Wish you luck.

If they sent the letter on the date of my status change, I guess I will be able to get the letter this week as I live in Singapore. That's indeed a good news. Thanks for the input. :)
