Yes... your wife should write a letter of invitation as well
I have submitted my TRV application last week with as many supporting papers as possible attaching my original old passports. Now its up to them to decide. I heard that it is really too tough to get visit visa pending immigration application. Thank you all for your valuable suggestions.

Finally my wife got her PP from VFS. :D

Its been a wonderful journey of 8 months since the day I applied for her in Sept16,2013 till yesterday with all of you. Sharing my concern, asking for help to everyone here and getting helped with any issues I had was in a word amazing. Got tremendous help starting for how to organize documents till when to receive PP. Friends, I salute you for all your help.

I will go to Bangladesh just before Eid (around July 27) to bring her here so that she can enjoy summer in Montreal.

Best of luck to all who just started the journey, those in Process, those waiting for PP to return.

Cheers.

Big congrats to you!!!! :) Now your mind can finally rest ;).

On what date did they issue your wife's visa and COPR, exactly? And what's the COPR expiry date?

We got Decision Made on the same day, yet my wife still hasn't got back her passport >_<. Too bad the VFS in Indonesia doesn't handle PR visas.

My wife opted to have her passport returned by registered mail, and it's not nice that we don't even know whether or not the SVO already returned her passport, since we don't even have the tracking number =(

Congrats, and wish you have half a dozen children which will cement your relation/marraige more.

Canada also needs more children.

it was issued on Apr-08. Expiry date is Aug-20, the same date when her medical is also expiring so they gave up to that time.

@kaisin

I used my email address I use for everything. Singapore has even emailed me at this address in the past. I have no idea why it's not working

And on what date did the SVO mail the package?

And did the SVO send the package to VFS using registered mail or courier?

And how did VFS send the package to your wife?

Good news guys...a few days ago I contacted my MP's office to request for help with my wife's passport.

Today a constituency assistant emailed me, saying that the SVO informed her that my wife's passport had been mailed on 6th May. Amazingly the SVO also gave the tracking number of the package to the constituent, which she gave to me as well.......very useful and crucial for us to have the tracking number, as my wife didn't send a prepaid courier envelope (she chose to have her passport via registered mail), hence we didn't even have the tracking number to begin with. Hopefully my wife will get the passport at the very latest this Friday then ;).

Wonderful.

Congrats.

As Singapore VOs are relatively free from issuing student visas hopefully we will see more activities there soon.
