It seems that Singapore is on a fast track now! For us it was a long haul. But when we were talking about it did go by fast (9 months) I was lucky i was able to go back to Vietnam 7 times and got to see the contry from the south to the north allmost all the major citys and some towns. I do miss the travel but very warm to have her with me and we will go back in 2 years for 4 to 6 weeks and do some traveling in south asia!

She loves Vancouver and we are traveling in our own city!

Congrats to all the new PPR!

tnx durianfruit. They started processing my application last July 2009. My case is a bit complicated thats why, just re do our medical last April 2010 and pay the landind fee , and and this month ppr request...

marisol, did you have to go through an interview? When did Singapore first contacted you for anything before medical re-do and fees request?

Anyone dealing with Singapore sponsoring spouse with same timeline? Please share your story. Yet no letter from Singapore for PPR or letter for an interview. I e-mialed CIC Singapore almost 3 weeks ago and no response back from them. Thanks and good luck to all!

hi durianfruit, when they started to processed my papers last june 2009, i received letter asking me and my sponsor to provide divorce certificate because were previously married to our ex spouses that was (Sept 2009), then we send letter explaining everything that we cannot provide it. Then after that on the month of November I received a letter again asking my partner to provide divorce certificate and if we cannot provide it just write a written explanation. So we send letter again that we cannot provide it and some internet arcticles justifying that we Filipinos have no divorce. Then, January of 2010 they send me letter for re-medical and unfortunately i didnt received their letter (through registered mail) so the letter was sent back to them and last March of 2010 they send it to my partner in Canada, the letter asking me to do the re-medical and to pay the RPRF. We all submitted that last April 2010..... , I just send my passport today and hoping they return back it with visa...

Any new timelines from Singapore? I'm still waiting for ppr! Singapore is taking so long...

seems like not many people are dealing with singapore. unfortunately i am and nothing has changed. best of luck to everyone here.

hi to all,

just got my passport back with visa.... thnx GOD the long wait is over,

I am so thankful to all of you and this forum..... GOD is good...........

durianfruit604, any news with your case? I've been waiting and checking status on e-cas every day but still haven't seen any updates since April 1st, that is when they started processing my wife's app at the Singapore office.

It's way too early for you to get any news from Singapore. The good news is that they did e-mail me PPR via e-mail for my wife last week. This was after I notified them that the PPR through postal mail end of April was never received. Now my wife has sent away passport through IOM in Ho Chi Minh City. It's finally almost over. Best of luck to you and everyone else.

Apparently PPR was sent from CIC Singapore to my wife end of april, but she never received it. Don't they keep track of PPR has arrived to sponsored person or not? Seems like they don't care much! Apparently PPR was through regular mail. I suugest if no PPR or Interview request was received from Singapore... send the a case specific inquiry e-mail and they would respond back to you. I e-mailed and also faxed them.

Congrats to you Durian, the wait is finally over for you. As for me I still have to wait like you said still early. But why don't they updates anything on ECAS? It would be nice if they put some sort of updates through the stages. The wait is just too much to handle :).

Anyone else with the same time line like myself and would like to share the story?

congrats durian :D
