honeybeelover, think we all have to be patient. The waiting game is tough....

there are still many 2011 and 2012 applicants that are still waiting?

I applied under provincial nominee program
My status has been the same since Nov 2011 and it's only 28months later(2 weeks ago), that i receive "In Process" and Medical request

but hopefully yours will be faster than mine.....

Does anyone know how long of a wait for passport request after re-meds have been done?

In the re-medical letter CIC normally tells you to send password after 6 weeks from date of re-medical

Passport has arrived in Singapore
Tracking indicates item is at postal facility on hold :(
Hoping they deliver tomorrow

Hi guys! Just a quick update of my case.

My file went to "in process" on Dec 9 2013 and I was requested for 2nd medical exam on Dec 10 2013. As I have been in Canada on visitor's visa since June 2013, I did the re-medical exam in Canada on Dec 17 2013. And today Mar 10 2014 I was requested to submit my passport along with 2 photos to CPP-Ottawa, instead of Singapore office. There is no new police check being requested although I have been in Canada for more than 6 months and my Vietnamese police check expires long time ago.

I think Singapore office is changing their system as I think I'm the first ever outland applicant to be requested to send passport to CPP-Ottawa.

You are fortunate that you only have to send PP to Ottawa :)
Our applicant has been in Canada on TRV since Feb 1, 2013 and we just sent PP to Singapore
I have seen one other be requested sent to Ottawa

As for the Police clearance... they do the Canadian one in the background and depending on how long you have been out of Vietnam a new one isn't required :)

You are almost done!!!

There was no mention of passport request or the Appendix A that you are supposed to get.

I was just wondering does ECAS update receiving of 2nd medical info i mean re-medical result info?

Applicant who has done re-medical previously did you see any update in ECAS? if answer is YES then usually how long it takes to update the ECAS with receiving of re-medical info?

I asked this same question before but no one replied.

no, they don't give any update. u just sent ur documents with passport after re-medical & 60 days counting on issuing ur letter from SVO.

Ours were signed for by "Mabel." Hopefully she knows what she's doing. Almost two months now, passport not returned, status on eCas still "application received," no answers to our emails. Hope you have better luck with "Preethi."

Anybody has any idea so far what is the average time taken for the passport to be returned after submission?

I wish someone could answer this. The spreadsheet seems to suggest a month or less but that is not our experience...

Hmm strange...so they're not consistent in updating eCAS then. Very coincidentally, 3 things happened on the same day to my wife: (1) Her eCAS changed to "In Process" (2) Her re-medical got processed (3) She got PPR through snail mail.

By the way, you once mentioned that you emailed Singapore to inquire about your passport. Did you send the email through the contact form, or to their email address?

It says in the passport request that you should allow 30 days for processing....

my husbands passport was sent in and received today, picked up by someone "PSM"? does anyone else know who this is?
