Hi All,

we have finally recieved re-med and passport request. As i have mentioned my wife is in Canada and does not intend to go back home for sometime. Can we send the passport from canada and get it back to the address in canada. We re bangladeshi applicant.

I need someone who has sent their passport from canada to advise us how to let SVO know that we want the passport to be sent back to Canada not address back home.

Thank you all for your help.

Does your passport request not mention sending a self addressed envelope with your passport so they can return it?

Thanks cdnmom,

No, it says see sending passport instruction Appendix ....

All it says is that sending passport from Bangladesh by Visa Application Center. the address of VAC offices in Bangladesh. I am just worried that if i send the passport by mail to SVO they will send the passport back to Bangladesh and my wife is in Canada without any passport, plus a passport that has visa in it in Bangladesh is gold for anyone who wants to steal it.
I called CIC and they said call Singapore office, I advised them that Singapore office replies in 30 days if they reply at all and they said tuff luck!!
Anyone in this forum has experience with sending passport from Canada?? Please this is when we need true help.

Bangla;
You can send your passport either by DHL or UPS to Singapore. You have to ask post office to make a sufficient return envelope as well, so you can receive your package in Canada. Forget about what SVO office said because your wife is not in Bangladesh. Just write a letter that as you are in Canada you chose to send your passport by DHL or UPS.

Hi there,
First, you must change your wife mailing address in ecaips system, CIC they will use automatically this address to mail (there is a link when you want to change your mailing address),
They always ask you to inform if you change your mailing address, don't they?
Then, to make sure, emailing/mailing together with all the updated forms they asked for that you have changed address, and then you could follow the step which Davidsuchet mentioned above,
Hope you will feel better and everything will be ok,
Regards,

when did you receive passport request and send your passport to Singapore?

Checked Application status online says decision made an officer will contact you shortly doesn't say approved or denied but hoping it's approved haven't gotten email or letter yet requesting her pp decision was made Feb 18

I was just wondering does ECAS update receiving of 2nd medical info i mean re-medical result info?

Applicant who has done re-medical previously did you see any update in ECAS? if answer is YES then usually how long it takes to update the ECAS with receiving of re-medical info?

Good news for all Singapore visa office clients.

Maronvarma Spousal visa case went into In Process in Ecas on Feb 11. His case was shown received on Ecas on Sept 18, 2013 and Bangladesh case. So it is very fast and SVO is speeding up and I think within next one month all the 2013 cases will go into in process.

yep, I saw that too, and was kinda thrilled to see how fast Maronvomra's file had processed. :o His one is probably the fastest I had seen so far. So, it's really a good news for all applicants under Singapore vo.

Somebody restored a old version of Singapore Timeline excel spreadsheet. I have noticed it does have last couple of weeks update. I just fixed the file. I request everyone carefully update and use the file.

This good news only for family sponsorship applicant. nothing about us (PNP Applicant).

Congratulation guys.

Send an email to Singapore Visa Office that you see from discussion forum in Canadavisa.com that sept 2013 applications are being processed and your application deserve to be processed earlier and request them to process it immediately.

Have you ordered a GCMS note? I bet your officer is AG000894 !

Alternatively, speak to a Canadian MP for help?

i ordered gcms notes, waiting 3 more weeks till receive. Last two gcms didnt show assigning officer. Isnt 28 months the max waiting time for singapore v.o? Im almost 16 months. I thought there is nothing i can do except wait. Are you guys sure i can email them to inquire? Or ask mp for help? I did write a letter to singapore v.o inquiring about my case about a month ago, but got no response. I did however saw 'recommend passed' on my gcms notes.
