Do somebody knows Why do they ask us to do a schedule A again when sending the passport since we filed a Schedule A already when we first apply to this ?

So, my wife never received an Appendix A in the mail. They only ask re-med, redo IM0008ENU_2D, IMM5669E, IMM5406E, and 4 passport photo. Will they be sending passport request after (mail or e-mail) or did I somehow miss it.

I have also received a mail package asking for police certificates, passport etc...

There is no point of waiting 6 weeks after done re-med. I am supposed to send all required papers and passport within 60 days of the letter issued.

Why would there be no point of waiting for 6 weeks? It's the CIC that wants that, and in fact that exact instruction to wait 6 weeks is right there in the PPR letter:

"Wait six weeks after completing your medical examination and all required lab tests, then submit all the documents in one envelope, together with your passport(s), to this office."

As you can see the PPR letter never says to send the required papers and passport within 60 days of the PPR letter's issuance.

The 60 days thing applies to the *remedical*. The remedical request was emailed on a certain date, and the sponsored spouse must undergo the remedical within 60 days of the remedical request.

Here's what my wife's remedical email says:

"You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 60 days of the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application."

So referring to the above 2 quotes, we can infer that once the remedical has been done (which has to be within 60 days of the remedical instruction date), *then* wait for 6 weeks before sending the required papers and passport.

That's my understanding of how it works.........perhaps the senior members can clarify? I'm pretty sure I'm correct......the instructions are pretty straightforward ;D

I am not asked to wait for 6 weeks after my medical. I think instructions can vary Visa Officer to Visa Officer .

ANY Advice ......

No advice, recommend pass means they will not give you an interview, so it looks like your spouse will get his/her PR as long as they pass medical. Congratulations.

Hi guys...

***NEWS AGAIN***

On 5 Feb, my wife got an email from the CIC (Singapore) requesting her to undergo another medical exam. Fine.....she did that on 11 Feb.

Then today (14 Feb) she got a PPR (along with relationship proofs), mailed to her house in an envelope (is that a sweet Valentine's day present or what? ;D )

The letter states that she has to wait for 6 weeks since the re-medical, before submitting her passport, along with the required documentations.

Then the letter lists the required documentations:

- 4 recent passport sized photos
- completed IMM5669 Schedule A

Apart from the 2 required documentations, there are also Appendices 'A' and 'C' in the envelope they sent, which obviously my wife will have to fill out as well.

Questions:

- Why only 2 required documentations? Isn't she supposed to send a brand new police clearance too? O.o

Those of you guys who got your 2nd police clearance request: was it listed as one of the required documents? Under the black bold "REQUIRED DOCUMENTS" how many items were listed?

- The Appendix A that they sent asks:

"How would you like us to return your passport(s)?

__Registered Mail
__Visa Application Centre
__Courier (Paid by Applicant)"

Which one do you guys think is the safest? Registered mail should suffice I suppose? (would we be required to pay for registered mail??)

What's a "visa application centre" anyway? How does it work?

hey friend,
my wife got the same two requirements too. So just send as they asked. They would have mentioned the Police Clearance if they needed it. so, dont worry, and send those two. It is safe to use visa application center instead of courier or else. Please use the VFS office to send and receive your passport.

I also got a re-medical email on the 5th of feb. Got it done on the 9th. Then on the 11th received a package with our photos and request for police certificate and so on. We sent one with our original application but i guess they need an update?

quick questions for those sponsor whos applicant just got their re-medical asked..did u guies recieved any police clearence request and how long it took to get ppr requested ?

I was emailed a re-medical request on feb 5th, next on the 11th a package came with our photos and a request for police clearance and the IMMs.... and payment requests. Also stating wait 6 weeks to send in passports. So it all came in one note except the medical came first in a email.

i am sure it depends or the visa office, officer and the origin of the country but mine dosent says 6 weeks wait it says after completing your medical please put all the required documents togather in a envolope with ur passport to the office and told me to redo appendix a c and b and told me to use any currier. So do not need to hyped up about 60 days or 6 weeks its depends on the cases.
