I want to tell the people my story , My nightmare started last october 2013 when I got an finally an awnser from this visa office after I sent a couple Email
this was the email I sent ;

Wish me luck and a happy ending for the rest I need it !!!!!

Thanks for letting us know your story. Why don't you go to media and press and disclose your case to whole nation ? That will be useful. Please start contacting them.

One thing you did right by contacting VO by emails as those are records that they can not deny. The VO will be in trouble if he/she refuses you PR application.

If it is a postal mail from Singapore, then look for it in their website and if required call them in Singapore.

If it is a courier then call the concern courier service office in Canada, they can tell you rightly or if you have tracking no then go to their website and search it there and you will find when you will receive the mail.

normal mail from singapore to canada is 14days if I'm not wrong =)

Thanks Man..

Hi ALL:

I landed on February 08, 2014.

Hi guys...

***NEWS AGAIN***

On 5 Feb, my wife got an email from the CIC (Singapore) requesting her to undergo another medical exam. Fine.....she did that on 11 Feb.

Then today (14 Feb) she got a PPR (along with relationship proofs), mailed to her house in an envelope (is that a sweet Valentine's day present or what? ;D )

The letter states that she has to wait for 6 weeks since the re-medical, before submitting her passport, along with the required documentations.

Then the letter lists the required documentations:

- 4 recent passport sized photos
- completed IMM5669 Schedule A

Apart from the 2 required documentations, there are also Appendices 'A' and 'C' in the envelope they sent, which obviously my wife will have to fill out as well.

Questions:

- Why only 2 required documentations? Isn't she supposed to send a brand new police clearance too? O.o

Those of you guys who got your 2nd police clearance request: was it listed as one of the required documents? Under the black bold "REQUIRED DOCUMENTS" how many items were listed?

- The Appendix A that they sent asks:

"How would you like us to return your passport(s)?

__Registered Mail
__Visa Application Centre
__Courier (Paid by Applicant)"

Which one do you guys think is the safest? Registered mail should suffice I suppose? (would we be required to pay for registered mail??)

What's a "visa application centre" anyway? How does it work?

VAC is a third party company that handles all the immigration applications now. It was set up right after the pafso strike last year. It is based in equity plaza at raffles place mrt, near to Visa office but not next to it.

Anyway congrats!!!! Must have been exciting to receive that!!!

why do we have to wait six weeks? my letter says within 60 days :s i am confused
