if you are inside in Canada on TRV visa and you have COPR you have to leave Canada and renter by Air,Road with COPR as a landed immigration. When you pass the border then CBSA will sign on COPR paper at he border or airport then you wife will become a permanent resident.
I did update the Excell sheet for you.... It has been a long way before we arrive at this final step. We were quit lucky that my wife could have a TRV in last year... we had been together for the past 12 months.... But it took 28 months from the first time we sent the papers to CIC in october 2011, and another two years before we had enough evidences of our relationship. It is a long road to go.... but I don't regret anything... every step we had done to go threw those procedures had been worthy. Patience and resilience are the keys to get threw the whole process. One thing... I could say... it makes no sense that the CIC in Singapore can not proceed the files before 28 months. Some people there and in Ottawa don't understand what we have to go threw while we are waiting.

Thank you to all of you.. and I wish the best of luck... :-* :-* :-*

When did Singapore receive your file?

Is the re-medical just a normal, automatic, renewal system once you've past one year? Or, do they only ask for it when they're ready to put your case in processing? Any idea?

my application was received on 3rd April 2013.

Just email the Singapore visa office. Try to keep it all together so you don't send them several add ons. I believe the case specific is only for when you've gone over the listed wait time, which you have not. Don't forget to put applicant name file no and UCI at the top of the email :-)

Hi guys....please take a look at this random Indonesian police certificate I got from Google Images:

http://dc172.4shared.com/img/_xauzt6D/s3/138e8580558/SKCK.jpg

The CIC's rule is that documents that are not in English must be accompanied by a sworn translation, an affidavit (written by the translator) and a certified copy.

My wife's from Indonesia, and assuming she does have to provide a 2nd police clearance, I wonder if we should get its sworn translation and certified copy? Because as you can clearly see from the above image, an Indonesian police certificate has bilingual Indonesian/English captions.....

Any thoughts?

This clearance is fine and doesn't require additional translation.

Hi Saied.
My husband is also waiting to pick up his passport from VAC. His eCase status also says the same thing as your wifes'. I don't thing it means anything. That is because passports were processed already meaning visa has been issued. So, I don't see why the office will has to contact us. -fingers crossed-

Hopefully, the passports will arrive at VAC today (BD time).

To all of you guys (or whose spouse of) already got their passport back (with the visa stamped), just wondering how Singapore sent the passport back? Was it with regular mail, or priority courier such as FedEx, DHL, etc...?

My wife's pp has sent through the Visa Office in her area, and she will be picking that up from there when instructed...

If you send your passport through courier, they will courier you back your passport. but, if you use visa office in your area, and it sure is more secure that way, your VFS Office will contact you. It involves some fees though.

they didn't ask Police clearance from my wife. it usually takes 3 to 4 weeks.

I can't tell you who they use per say but it is fast and secure. Perhaps they send their own courier or agent for dropoff and pick up I suspect. I'm sure there's a diplomatic mail policy . For Cambodia they gather and send weekly each way. I imagine others are the same
