Hi all, I'm new here but in the same process as you guys. I'm just a bit worried as I don't have any news from Singapore and I sent everything a while ago. Here is the timeline:

Sent everything to Mississauga mid December, got approved to sponsor Jan 07, got the certificat de selection from Quebec Jan 27. Since then nothing, no news from Singapore that they started the case or anything, I have no way to track online. I even sent an email at Singapore embassy but they never answered me.

Am I worried for nothing or is this normal? My wife sent everything at same time, medical, police certificate from Thailand, pictures, phone bills, so they shouldn't need anything else from us.

Hope someone got some insight into this for me.

Thanks

Alex

I have been approved to sponsor my spouse, and I checked online, and it stated that her application process started on March 10th. At what stage of processing, I am not sure. Information is vague. Although, a point has been made not to contact my Member of Parliament, and write letters to the Minister of Immigration. I don't feel that sitting idle is a good option for me, although I wouldn't advise anyone to write letters, or not write letters. I am not one to sit back and wait for things to happen, just think of ways to promote a change. :) My honest thoughts is that I feel very passionate about this, and sometimes the words fall on the page, when I start writing.

Good Luck

DC

Hi Kimbo, did singapore notify you of an interview at all? Where is your spouse sponsored from? Is your status on ECAS still IN PROCESS?

By the way congrats to you GGOOD! You must be one happy fellow right now! By the way anyone sponsoring a spouse through Singapore office when a similar timeline as mine? Up till yet no new news for me. Just still IN PROCESS. I'm so frustrated with Singapore. I have e-mail them twice regarding my file and yet have gotten a response back from Singapore. What kind of B.S, is that hey? All I can do now is sit and wait! The waiting game goes on... ???
