Received approval letter from Mississauga in May 27, 2013
File Transfer to Singapore ..... ( shows in ecas Application Received )
My spouse received letter from Singapore regard to sponsor... end of June. ( This confirms that your application for the permanent residence in Canada has has been received by the Singapore visa office on June 3, 2013)

Doesn't show on ecas any medical update .....
Any advise will be appreciated........

2 days ago I submitted application for GCMS note ( January 11, 2014)

The wait in Singapore can be quite long. Even if your medical comes up as passed on your gmcs notes it's only good for one year and if you sent it in with your application it will more likely than not expire and you will have to redo it anyway. They will request this and any other updated forms closer to the end of your processing, the length of which depends on your application and the luck if the draw on which vo your file got assigned to. Hope you are lucky. Hopefully your notes will have an initial review on them.

don't u have 60 days to sent it since they sent u the letter ? They sent me the letter on December 10 so I have time until feb 10. So ur should be until feb 13. And it says on the paper. U have only 60 days to sent everything in.

I know they said wait six week after remed but u also have to look at the day they gave u. U have 60 days to send it? Read the paper. They said u have 60 days from the date of the letter they sent u. So they sent me letter on December 10 and I have 60 days to sent all my paper. So before feb 10. There is a little box it says there.

Hi, I was just wondering what the average time it takes for a file to transfer from Mississauga to Singapore.
I wanted to send some additional documents but maybe it's too late? Obviously, It would be quicker to send within Canada.
Thanks and good luck to everyone!

The listed time for sponsorship approval at this juncture is 28 days at which point they will send the file to Singapore. Either way I think it's better to send the additional information to Singapore. I sent some on ours via email with attachments, nothing's faster than that but, just an opinion, don't keep dribbling stuff in as it may delay you and don't fret. If you think it's really important by all means send it. If more comes same thing but try to make it once or twice with only big things. Your application should have been as complete as possible when sent, with the exception of course of pregnancy or something unforeseen like that.
When did you send your application? Don't be too alarmed by our timeline btw because we were unusually long for a straight forward application, it can be much better :-) or worse from time to time :-( but usually better. Good luck and welcome to the forum

When I said documents , I meant additional proof :P. I sent a lot already so maybe I should wait and see if they request for some more. I sent my application last month. Thanks for the warm welcome toutesweet :)

She only received request for re-medical. I am hoping she will receive the request for passport once the re-medical is done and checked.
