Hi ALL:

Sorry for delayed response. As per ECAS "Decision Made" or Visa issued on December 30, 2013. Passport with VISA is sitting at VAC, Dhaka since January 06, 2014. Planning to fly sometime in late January or early February. Good luck to all of you and wish you very happy New Year 2014. It has been a long 'waiting' journey ended in a New Year note! All the pains are over now. However, will remember for a long period of time in life. Right guys?

are u from bangladesh? What's ur time line? U got a letter from them on May 2013. If they sent u letter saying u r on the interview list then u r going to hav interview. I don't really know how long u have to wait to have an interview ........... Don't worry everything will be fine. I know u r stress but we can't do anything about it. I was so stress too and had to wait for so long. Share ur time line with us. What's ur ecas says right now?

My wife, who is waiting for her PR application to process through Singapore, received a response to an information request to the embassy about 1 month ago. Their response was that her application is "pending final review". Someone who she spoke with on another forum that apparently works for Immigration in Canada said that this means her application just needs to be signed off by one last supervisor. He also congratulated her and said she's almost there. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Her interview was recommend waived
She has recommend passed

Singapore received our file on June 3, 2013. Judging from others' posts...I'm a bit sceptical about this timeline. Her status on ecas also says "Application Received" still. She has literally had days of crying spells about not knowing. We were married less than a year ago and this is really putting a damper on things. Especially since I need to return to Canada to get started in my next career path.

Any thoughts? Thanks

hello mskenned.

I applied in FEB/13 and application is still recieved. I dont expect to hear anything until June/July 14. My application is also recomended passed and this thing about 1 signature left is all bull***. judging from everyone else's experience from this forum it will take now 14/16 months before your application changes from application recieved to processing. after which they will ask for remed and maybe 2/6 months later pp request.

I didnt want to wait that long and applied for TRV first in the summer last year and got rejected... >:( ....waited until nov and applied again and got approved :D my wife is with me in Canada now and we are waiting for application status to change or remed request. BUT WE NOT HOLDING OUR BREATH ANY MORE....

hope this helps.

Actually, my wife and I tried to do a TRV and it was rejected as well last June. However, the first time, I planned to return home and live apart and she was going to be coming to visit me alone as I would have a job in Canada. Since she was rejected, I decided to stay in Thailand with her while we wait. Would you mind going through exactly what you included in the second application for TRV? Since I am now working in Thailand on a work permit, I'm assuming this will help. She was rejected the first time for finances and intention to return to Thailand before her visa expired. We plan to go on a two week holiday this April to visit my parents (they will be her sponsors). We both have jobs in Thailand and my wife owns a piece of land worth approximately $7000. However, he monthly salary as a teacher remains a potential problem since she doesn't make very much. Also, did you have to purchase a roundtrip flight after you were approved? Any details would really help! Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

sorry !!! Someone told me on this forum that if ur ecas shows in process that means u r not going to have an interview. Which is true cuz my husband didn have one neither did anyone else who's file went in process. U should talk to diyabrar. You will find him in this forum. Last few pages he posted stuff too. He is very helpful. I asked him question too and he helped me.
