Just got the interview date today.

My stomach is still fluttering. It is so great to have news! To be acknowledged!

Now we must prepare. We only have two weeks until the interview! (Applied March 2012, transferred in June 2012... nothing until today.. November 2013 and it is game time in only 2 weeks!!!)

I will be searching this site for advice. Interview is in Bangkok, if anyone has any specific advice feel free to share.

So nervous... so excited....

I hope every else in the interview queue is getting their dates. This is proof they are looking at files! (We got our interview queue letter in February 2013)

We did not yet.... : we did send all the informations requested from SVO... medical redone (july), police certificate redone (july) and the certificate from the RCMP in Canada (september) In the GCMS report.... the due date was the 2013-11-05. We still in process with the medical received... My wife got another TRV for another year... she will be back in Canada in december..... I am looking everyday the status on CIC.... just hoping to get news pretty soon....

lol no i dont think so..lots of them in phillipine are muslim as far as i know.It is the situation in bd and as well as how fast the bd govt are releasing information to singapore visa office as for their inquary

Are SVO doing any kind of inquiry with BD government? What kind of info SVO ask to bd gov?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum. Submitted my application in November '12. Sponsored by my husband, a Canadian citizen. Received email from CIC on December 20, 2012. No other news since. On September 10, 2013, my husband made a phonecall to CIC asking the status of his application as my sponsor. Turns out they hadn't touched his application at all. Less than 24 hours after the call, my husband received an email from CIC about his eligibility and that they have forwarded my application to Singapore. My application status on CIC website remains the same: APPLICATION RECEIVED.

Anybody has the similar story? Is this going to affect my waiting time?

You mean that you and your husband have not received any email/ mail of receipt application from CIC Singapore since Dec 20, 2102? And after calling on Sept 10, 2013 they updated what date of receipt?

My application was also submitted to Missisauga in Nov 2012, my husband received approval letter by mail on 5 Dec 2012. After that I received an email from CIC Sing that they received my application on 20 Dec 2012. From that date I also did not have any information from them. I checked ECAS and it perform receiving date is Dec 20, 2012.

Yes, approval letter for sponsoring me, he is sponsor in Canada. I'm is Vietnamese application. Indeed, he received a letter via post mail that mentioned CIC in Can received our application on 15 Nov 2012. After that he received another mail on 5 Dec for sponsor approval. I received an email on 20 Dec 2012 that CIC in Sing received my application. No news from then.

I see that your file was transferred to SVO in Nov 2012. If your file is progressing well, you might already be very close to the end. Have you ordered any GCMS notes recently?

I hope that it is close but then again there are a lot of us who have even worst scenario. Yes we did apply for a GCMS and everything looks good in it, interview waived and eveything but i dont know how long it is going to take them for the next step.
