If you don't mind which immigration category you applied? Is it spousal sponsorship (Family Class)?

Hi Jannat70,

Thanks for the info. Is that re-med or first medical? What is your application submission date to CIC? When they received and when CIC sent your application to Singapore? If you do not mind can you please provide us the info?

Hi Jannat70: CONGRATULATIONS !! VERY UNUSUAL TIMELINE !!

This can NOT be usual Spousal Sponsorship timeline! I am Sorry to comment on your timeline! I am at a loss after reading your timeline.

PLEASE tell us, if your application was under other category, or at least, tell us when did you submit your application to CPC Mississauga ?? Thanks in advance..

Good news to all applicants, Canada government is hiring new employees to speed up immigration process. This recruitment is a strong respond to PAFSO members ( current immigration officers) who are taking strike and keep people away from their families .

Hi Davidsuchet: Good news! However, Gov will hire new people and then train them to work with files. Its not the solution for the people who are almost at the end of the decision. New officers might mess the files too. I don't know. I am NOT much positive right now. But time will say at the end. lets wait for the 'time'.

yes, total hiring process will take sometimes between six months to a year. :(

This new recruitment policy is for decreasing processing time for both permanent resident and citizenship applicants which is now nearly four years to get your Canadian nationality. So practically you will never finish dealing with CIC till you get your new citizenship certificate. Imagine just some PAFSO officers get back to work by hearing this news because they don't want to lose their job permanently and that's good enough for us.

I think job hiring news is a great punishment for striker. they have no right to do games with our life.
