Hi Fortune89: Now it makes sense to me. A number of applicants from Bangladesh got PPR and PCC request at the same mail. It means a lot of applicants from Bangladesh got request for 2nd time PCC. By the way, did your friend get PPR and PCC through Email or regular snail mail I mean postal mail. I am worried about postal mail at the address in Dhaka. Are you using address in Dhaka too ? Just curious. Thanks a lot for your response.

My friend received PPR and PCC request through regular mail. His BD contact address is outside of Dhaka.

YES My BD contact address is in Dhaka.

You know the immigration office works in mysterious ways. What happened in one case may not happen to another person.

I am not saying do not go to Singapore for in-person Passport drop-off & pick-up. I am saying, I do not know what will happen, that is whether they will cooperate.

May be you can sent a PM to Sponbd although I doubt he checks this forum but may be he will get a notification in his regular mail to check ur message.

Also, have you thought about arranging visa for Singapore from Dhaka and also the plane ticket?

hey goodman,
i also meant d same thing that svo gives different treatment for different ppl...like i found some1 in d forum who got refused to take visa in person from singapore when he email req for it to them while sponbd got the opportunity...i guess asking sponbd about it wont be helpful..when my turn will come i''l email to svo that will they give me permission for it or not! n i guess visa for singapore wont take that much time..we r planning to go for a second honeymoon in singapore :P n if it take long my hubby will receive that as he is citizen of canada he wont need any visa for singapore,,,,pray for me that either i get my re medical req n passporet req the same time n get it back quick or i get chance to go to singapore for getting my passport back with visa :-\

Of course all of our prayers are with you.

Usually, if the Passport request doesn't come with the re-medical request, it comes separately within the next few days.

However, usually, Singapore VO asks the passport to be sent 6 weeks after the re-medical is done. You can plan your visit accordingly.

Hi,

Anyone know how long I can take vacation once I apply for my spouses PR like is it ok if I go for a vacation back home for 3-4 weeks?

And where will I find the excel sheet which tracks the applicants status who applied from Quebec like first apply for sponsorship then CSQ and all?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is OK to take 3-4 weeks vacation.

There is a link for applications for Singapore Visa Office but I am not sure about Quebec applicants. May be you can search the forum.
