Hey, when did he get the request? We got our request on March 1st 2013, my husband only had to do a part of the medical and send it along with passport and a few other documents. They told us to wait 2 weeks and then send it in, so we sent it on the 14th of March and they recieved it on the 19th of March.

I'm not sure why they asked you to wait 4 weeks but you should wait, they must have a reason.

Thanks for your reply. He got PPR and remedical I think on April 7. Same day he did the medical. Singapore already kept my son's passport for PR visa when I applied for his TRV on last week of march. You are right I have to wait. But I am sick of waiting for 19 months.. I will visit Bangladesh on June and wanna back with them by July 1.. But I see there is no hope for me. As you are waiting more than a month for passport return.

Yes it's been 45 days so far. The good thing is that I'm living in Bangladesh with my husband and kids, but it's frustrating not knowing when we can leave as there are so many things to do before we go!! Hopefully this week we will hear something?

thanks everyone.@ mom_of_2:i saw the change on ecas this morning bd time which is sunday night in canada,maybe they updated sunday day time.maybe ecas was updated by singapore? But the passport was released today though ah the wait is almost over .what a relief!

My husband spoke to VFS Dhaka today and they said that it is taking a little longer than usual and estimated time is 1 and a half months now so hopefully this week.
