" My timeline is about the same as well...

Application received: 10th August 2012
Sponsor approval: 26th September 2012
Passport request: 17th October 2012
Passport sent to NDVO: 2nd December 2012
Application went to 'in process': 7th February 2013
Still waiting on their decision/passport return "

This is an actual post from another thread by a Poster.

He got PP request one month after Sponsor approval from New Delhi Visa Office.

And we at Singapore VO are at their mercy.

Ya,

I was looking at the May 2012 Applicants forum. 80% of them already landed with PPR and I am waiting in the interview list of SVO, which apparently will take 24 months more.

**God Bless the SVO with more efficient employees and help us get our applications through**

I received an e-mail from Singapore Visa Office asking to sent them my spouse's notarized copy of her Birth Certificate (within 60 days from the date on the letter). This is the only item they are asking for to review the application documents. This document was not included in the original file.

What does it mean? Does it mean that a Visa Officer has opened the file and as soon as they receive the above document they will start reviewing the file further?

My wife will Fedex it by tomorrow. My wife's Medical expires in June. Any chance, she will get PPR before then?

Shiny:

Call Bangladesh Consulate in Ottawa at 613 236 0138 immediately.

I also heard that they provide consular service in Toronto (at Danforth Ave and Dawes Ave) once every month. If the timing matches, you can get this done here in Toronto. Otherwise, you may have to do it by mail.

how by mail, i would still need to send her passport ,omg :'(

You can get the NVR stamp on arrival at Dhaka. But if you know people at the airport, you can get it done swiftly. Otherwise it's a long wait. (you know what I mean, BD people reeks off bribes and jealousy)

Shiny, You are travelling to Dhaka at a very bad time. Political situation is getting worse and now they have a new issue to damage the country's economy with the so-called Shahbag movement. Stay indoors most times. Stay safe :)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH GOODMAN36! I found the service online in toronto, and its gonna be held 10march in toronto and give the seal same day!, so i will just go to the passport office to get her passport in 24hours so i can get the stamp done the 10! thank you very much. ;D

That would be from self experience. This December when I visited Bangladesh, I didn't bother to take the NVR. So, when I landed I told them I was Bangladeshi as well and need the NVR. Then I had to wait for 15 minutes before my uncle came inside the airport and got everything done in no time and took me out :P

ho i see ,my tension is what if i land in bd and they dont allow my daughter in because theres no seal, i wonder if its because you were lucky or is just possible to get in without it. then i am thinking if that is the case then why would canadian put seal on the passport if people just get in without it, so dont really wanna risk to return back here because of not having the seal. :P
