Thanks ching sure it would help. I think we share similar timeline. Can u please share your time line? We are the first member in this forum who been asked for medical reassesment. Dont know it will make the process faster or even slower more. I will email them when its two month since they said they are reassessing. Please keep me posted about any update you get to hear. :) thanks

Hi Mehfuza,

I had posted my timeline in the spreadsheet we share in this forum. (well, i tried to copy the URL here, but it not allow me to post links.)
I did saw your timeline as well in the spreadsheet too, maybe you should consider to update your timeline as well in that document... ;)

Beside, I found this topic about the medical result reassessment in this forum:.../canada-immigration-discussion-board/post-medical-reassessment-time-t109068.0.html
It going to take about 4-7 weeks to approve. It seen to be more faster than redone the medical check-up.

By the way, since you say they inform you on Nov that your medical result was reassessing, so far any update from them yet?
So what is the status show in your e-cas now?

Finger cross for all of us!! hope to hear a good news from them soon. ;D

hi my friend, i think you should post this question under FSW category (Canada Immigration Forum > Immigration Topics > Skilled Worker / Professional Immigration). This category is for family class sponsorship so the interview experiences from us would be way different from FSW interviews. What experiences we had about the questions asked by interviewer would have nothing to do to help you or give you an idea of what you can expect. best of luck

Hey Ching! Thanks a lot for the information buddy. I just updated my part on the spreadsheet. so far from the people who has been reassessed the medical i got to see it takes around 8 to 10 weeks. No one got it before 6 weeks. So just wondering is it really worthy. More over they sometime decide to do certain test like x ray again that makes it more lengthy like doing re med at the last.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/medical-exam-validity-extension-for-additional-12-months-new-cic-bulletin-t106229.45.html

in my email reply they said it will take 2 to 3 month. Not sure what they told u. I really hope it gets done sooner. I mailed them midd of dec but no reply came so far. Gonna knock them again when its 2 month. The ecas shows in process since a month. Our reassessment was requested at same time so if i get any news from side i will inform u right away :)

Hi Everyone,

Is it ok to travel while sponsoring my spouse?

I wish to travel to Dhaka in March for a month. My first visit after I got married 8 months ago.

Will it hurt my application in any way? Should I follow any procedure?

No it wont hurt your application in anyway, if you are a PR you cant stay too long(one month would be okay i guess) if you citizen you can stay as much as you want and prove you intent to return back once your spouse get visa. If you go visit your wife in bd its gonna benefit you, after your return you could submit extra proofs(pictures, boarding pass, receipt of hotel,gifts..) of your ongoing relationship with your wife to Singapore which can help your application and probably wave a possible interview.. so go ahead:)
