be positive. when you see trouble to log in ecas mean something change or updating on ecas and it is normal. in my situation when i had an update on ecas always change effect early sunday morning between 12:30 to 1:30 and always 3 days later date . so it might be a positive sign. I think your husband ppr on the way and remedical.
my friend who had interview last feb file goes in process exactly after 10 days of the day of interview. finish process took 4 months.

and my friend's sister husband who had interview dec nothing change still application received.

For you it is a good sign they are finalize your husband file just wait for ppr in hand. could take another 5-10 days and do not worry until then.
really hope is positive, did your feb friend received request before it goes in process? ask your friend sister husband to login with the sponsor id maybe there will be a change. i cant wait for that email now. am freaking out XD thanks for the info

So....there has been activity from the SVO....seems like all dec'12 interview applicants are going "in process". I hope they just rush through the files and finish all paperwork without delay :D

Could anyone tell me how long it took you to receive Acknowledgement Letter from the SVO after file was transferred there?
I know the time frame is larger now but just to have an approximate idea.

they never send you an acknowledgement letter ...that is my understanding.

no Ackl. letter is sent to sponsor&sponsored person from Visa officer abroad. when you received your AOR letter from missisauga they tell you that the file is transfered to the appropriate visa office, and the only way for someone to know if they received is throug ecas only. :P

Shiny:

May I ask why you think it took so long for the actual interview of your husband to take place after you had received the interview request last year?

Hi, as far as i know visa officers travels to bangladesh from singapore to conduct interviews, its not done by officers in bangladesh. And they probably travel once or twice a year only. Also on the interview letter it state that it can take anytime to 24months to have the interview scheduled, and that same letter is sent to everyone who is on the interview queue of every country that is dealing with singapore visa office. Theres no exact explanation as of why it took that long for many of us. I would say the average waiting iis between 6-13months to have the interview scheduled. =)

Hm. What a sad thing that is happening when one has to wait so long for his/ partner to come in. With all the changes happening to immigration guidelines, one would hope that this process is looked at. But it seems, those visa officers at different regional offices have the cushiest jobs out

To All who have applied recently:
After 6 months or so and before any decision has been made by Singapore, please please send in additional supporting documentation to show that your relationship is continuing. Ie Skype logs, Facebook page print outs, more joint pictures with different people, money transfer receipt, if you have investments in Canada - make your spouse the beneficiary such as RRSP, pension plan, insurance etc. this will reaffirm your commitment and help your case.
I regret not sending these in and at the end helped tremendously during interview. Don't overwhelm the vo just send in important pictures and documents only. Write down explanation to everything so there is no room for assumptions.
I hope this would help someone.
Thx

Same here, i regret not knowing and thinking about sending additional proofs which would probably waive an interview and extra waiting period. By the way my file went in process dated from 13 december too, have you heard anything yet?tnx

Yes, the VO actually mentioned that had they received all the documents as presented during interview beforehand, the interview would have been waived. I trusted an immigration consultant who misguided and handed in application package which was incomplete.
Anyway, all is well now. Although i have not heard anything yet after the 13th 'in process' status, I'm hoping that MR request would come through shortly.
