Once file is in the VO abroad, they only contact the sponsored person via mail. Unless the sponsor filled out the "Use of a Representative" form stating him or someone else as the representative.

My husband has appointed a representative. He is busy now a days. I guess if svo gives any update we have a change of missing it. If svo does not contact me or my husband but only my representative then i guess he should withdraw him.

Yes i'm applicant. For my ecas status few days ago i email to svo but still no reply got frm them.

i seriously think you have missed any email or mail from them. Can u plz email ecas one more time. And order GCMS. Its not normal. It might take time but here they should have keep informing the person whats going on. Something is wrong somewhere. Merely a misunderstanding.

In that case, they will be contacting your representative for whatever clarification or anything they require or for any updates. Your representative should be someone responsible as most chances are all the notifications will be mailed to his address which was provided in the form

Honestly,

I am confused how the files are processed for immigration. Makes no sense at all. It took me 94 days to get approved as a sponsor and my file was received on 11 May. I just got to know another person who submitted on 30 May and he got approved in 30 days.

How is that even possible? Doesn't match any timeline :S

shiny88: I think you could be a very good immigration/visa officer, who will realise the pains of applicants. Wish you all the BEST.

No still not they contact with me for interview. Last may they contact for my birth certificate after that no contact. I never heard this type of situation like me before. Now i'm hopeless. Can anyone have any idea what will happen with me?

Hi afrosebd2002: Would you please share with us your experience - why would they even ask your 'Birth Certificate' again; since they should have a copy was submitted with the application initially? I am just curious. I would appreciate your response. Thanks in advance.
