In the re-med package there are two pages of document telling us what medical doctors authorized for Canadian Immigration for medical examination Bangladesh & Vietnam.

For Bangladesh:

Dr. Wahab's Medical Centre

Baridhara, Dhaka 1212

Green Cresent Health Services
29 Sarwardi Avenue
Baridhara Diplomatic Zone
Dhaka 1212

All medical results are send to Phillipines Manila.

Congratulations RASU AND SUMAN!!!!!! ;D am so happy for all of us, finally!! i was having tension for u to be honest ..@ SUMAN , on ecas it doesnt show time and location so i guess we gotta wait to receive mail or email from singapore, we should be receiving anytime soon. Am so excited and freaking out. whats the date of your interview Suman?

Any News thepie on your Medical Extension confirmation ?

No news still. My MP sent them an email. The response indicated that they will process it fairly quickly once the medical has been approved. So I guess I just have to wait and see. All they (RMO) has to do is look at the medical chest x-rays, so I hope it doesn't take too long.

Am shocked and sad to hear that, am sorry for the news. People with genuine marriage are suffering and those that are fake dont have to go trough denial.. Be strong and take the next step. :-[

My Medical Expired August 11 ,So almost 3 months have passed :-(

Seems to me, med extension is another loop in the process to make us wait longer !!

I'm very sorry to hear that. Usually, they explain the reasons of their refusal. What the letter said?

What is your next step now? You'll ask for a rehearing in front of an immigration judge?

That is very strange. I strongly recommend you ask your MP to send an email for you. If they are doing a medical extension, it is because the medical report is the only outstanding reason for issuing your Visa. Since the medical files just go to RMO Manila, there is no reason it takes longer to check an existing medical file than to examine a new one. My medicals expired August 10. But in between there was a PPR, photos, IMM5669 (I believe this one is for additional information for the re-med), criminal record check, and (at a later date) a re-chest xray.

For me it has been 2 weeks since my wife's re-chest x-ray, and I hear it takes about a week for it to be sent off. Not sure if it'll take an additional 4-6 weeks to re-examine the medicals... Hopefully sooner than that. But yeah, you should ask your MP to find out whats going on. Maybe your file is stuck.
