To be honest i dont know what are the good reason for a spouse to visit another spouse, mostly people get refused when is to visit a spouse. yes i guess to celebrate a wedding anniversary is not good enought for some people, last time i applied for my husband is to celebrate valentines day LMAO i know it might sound funny but got rejected(the reason of the refusal wasnt the purpose of the visit tough), this time is to be there for the birth of our first child. To my knowledge it doesnt matter the purpose of the visit but the ties in your spouse homecountry that matters. I read few people who got visa to celebrate wed anniversary. So you should focus on finding strong ties for ur spouse to her homecountry. what i find very st*pid is that it doesnt matter what ties in the world u have to ur homecountry ur spouse must be the number one reason to leave everything, so to show ties to proof ull return back is quite funny to me.

Thank you shiny88. I am baffled about making TRV application. Specially for writing the invitation letter. I am in a dilemma what to do or NOT to do. Should I try TRV or NOT. I feel like I am standing in between black and white. Undefined situation! very undefined! Thanks anyways.

Hi all advisor,

On 28 Sep, 2012 we received an email from
Citizenship and Immigration
Federal Skilled Worker Centralized Intake Office
Sydney, Nova Scotia
to confirm
my NB PNP application which was received on 27 Jul will be forwarded to Visa office in Singapore for further proccessing.

Only a minor question if there is any shorter timeline given by CIC Singapore for me, an applicant who has currently a son studying in NB for more than a year?

Otherwise in general timeline, please advise how long we should keep waiting for M.R.

Thank you

All i can say to you is that applying for trv wont hurt the pr process in anyways and i believe when a spousse apply for trv it shows that they want to see each others and to me it support the fact that relationship is genuine.

Probbaly you are right shiny88. But again I wanna ask you the same question. Why CIC did not consider your first TRV application as a potitive for your PR application as of yet? They should put your application in the normal queue instead of interview queue! I am asking myself this question again and again. Just curious about it. Please don't get me wrong. I appreciate your tips anyways. Thanks..

Sure thing... The app went in process on October 10th and my wife is from Thailand. She is currently here in Canada with me as she got her TrV back in April. I believe this helped our case because we were able to send a few update packages with photos from trips here, with family/friends, and photos from big holidays (such as thanksgiving). I should also say she got her TRV while not having a job, property (in her name), or much money in the bank. Our original application for PR was 14kgs and contained stacks of transcripts, flights, photos, international trips, etc. when we submitted the app we had only been married for 2 months, together for 5, and only spent a total time of 1 month, one week and 2 days together, so we had to work really hard to prove legitimacy. Fortunately we had proof of being in contact for upwards of 12 hours per DAY, every wiggle day. She is 27, I am 25. There was a delay in sponsorship applicants for the January group, for some reason I was the very last one approved from the group, according to the spreadsheet. Sponsorship was approved on may 8th, so the Singapore process was a little over 5 months. If you have any questions I didn't address, feel free to shoot me a PM!

Good luck to everyone with there TRVs and PRs!

Thanks, everyone!!
