I got email fro VFS dhaka Dear Applicant, You can now collect your processed visa application ref no......

also vfs tracking says i need receipt and passport copy....do i need this passport copy because i have original passport with them. I dont have passport photocopy with me....

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone tell me what the timeline is now? My file was received in Singapore mid-March, and I was approved in mid-June as a sponsor. If there are no complications, what happens next? If approved, who receives the email informing us that is she is approved to receive her PR Visa? Does the sponsored person, I.E. my wife receive an email requesting her passport be mailed to Singapore? Any up-to-date information would be much appreciated.

If I am not mistaken, there are two fees that needs to be paid. One initial fee along with the application submission, the second fee is when they are processing the visa, permanent resident fee. In our case, they asked for the second fee when they requested our passport.

My wife's ecas status just changed to "in process".

Here's my timeline:

Medical Done: : June 10, 2011
Application Received by CIC-M : Sept 01, 2011
Sponsorship Approved : Dec 13, 2011
In Process :Sept 18, 2012

Mine is:
Medical Done: June 2011
Application received: Sep 2011
Sponsorship Approved: Dec 2011
In Process: Sep 18 2012 (I'm from Vietnam too) and I 've just noticed the change in my ecas.

Do you guys have any idea what happens next? Medical must be redone certainly, Criminal Record must be re-applied too.
However, what I do care the most is about whether they require an interview which I hope they won`t. How long will it takes normally to have an answer about a call for an interview?

I will be submitting my application soon, within a week or two. What is the shortest wait somebody had, from submission, to PR approval? I understand the norm is 20-odd months, but what is the shortest time?

I my goshh!!! your timeline makes me nervous (( Yea.. im from Vietnam and my hubby is Quebecois too... and we just received Sponsor Approval few days ago.. . why does it take so long for Vietnamese? Same VO, but other countries are faster!!! can u guys guess why you guys got interview?

Did any one know when last time interview taken in bangladesh ??

It was sometime in February 2011, i remember Mirjahan was saying about her friend so i checked again her posts and yeah it was last taken in february from what i know.After that never heard of any interview being held in Bangladesh who knows maybe some people who doesnt use the forum had or i dont know... i feel horrible each day! Was supposed to apply tvr first day of october but so frustrated that i didnt get everything done yet and being lazy....but i will soon.....still didnt get any reply about pr from mp :-\
