I don't know why but yes, according to the instructions mentioned in their letter, you have to wait for two weeks after the MED and that's what my husband did. He waited for two weeks after the RE-MED and then submitted the docs to VFS.

the embassy is waiting for the result coming from medical clinic and it takes 2 weeks for them to examine our medical, thats why we need to call the clinic to be sure that the result is ok and being forwarded... i think that's the main reason..

cheers,

kurt

cheers,

Hi,

Yes , I got a letter asked me to redo medical exam then wait for 2 weeks and I can send my passport with 4 photos .

It will be 2 weeks on Sep 13 .

But, they mentioned on a letter that the visa is not guaranteed so, wait and see the result until I get my passport back.

When is your 2 weeks will be ?

Good luck to you Kurt. You are almost there.

I have a question. In the letter that my husband received from SVO with regard to submitting his passport, they asked him to submit 4 passport sized photos and mentioned that the photo instructions are on Appendix C. When he took a look at appendix C, he found that the measurements of the photograph that they mentioned on Appendix C are for the immigration photos and not for the passport sized phots and the number of photos are 3, not 4 althoug they asked for 4 at the beginning of the letter. He sent an email to SVO to clarify the matter but did not get any response. Next what he did was, he sent 4 Bangladesh passport sized photos and 3 immigration photos taken with the measurements they mentioned on Appendix C. Although it's been about 2 weeks since SVO received his passport with other required documents, we haven't heared anything back, neither positive nor negative. We are worried about the photograph confusion and just don't know if that gonna cause any delay or complications. So worried!

They asked for the following from him in one letter :

1. RE-MED
2. Photos - 4 in the letter but 3 on Appendix C. They asked for passport sized photos but the measurement they gave is for immigration photos.
3. Passport

I just wonder why they ask for passport and re-med at the same time from some applicants and just the re-med from some other applicants. I think your wife gonna get her PPR soon because they usually take about 3 months to request for passport if they have not asked for the passport with re-med. Good luck to you.

yeah really. When my wife got her re-med request she got all of those requested except for passport. I got in contact with my MP about a month after they had received the medical results and everything else (2 months ago now), she told me that they were currently "verifying" the documents (med results, police clearance, photos etc) and didn't give any information about how much longer it would take. Isn't the medical results and police clearance certificate verifying documents themselves? Like what is there to verify about a document that is already verifying something (verifying the applicant is in good health and verifying the applicant has no criminality)...? ::) Another excuse for making people wait longer?
