Why why Singapore do not answer my question.
My question is me and my sister apply same time 1 week after each.

My wife did not get anything from Singapore and no movement on ecas.
My sister husband receive a letter for additional documents to submit
More engagement pictures, wedding pictures, ceremony with guest and resubmit IMM5406
Submit IMM5406.
What is the sign to ask for those form and pictures. we already submitted those .

My wife did not receive nothing mean ask for interview???
My sister case will look more deeply??

Singapore received my wife file July 11,2011 and mine sister file dated is July 14,2011
Any idea??

Hi Doan
I got PR request after seeing this line within 1-2 days. I think you should contact Singapore some how (email or phone) to ask about status. I know one case that got refused because of waiting too long. Singapore sent letter to request PP, but the wife never receive it (lost) after waiting 3 months, the husband in Canada got a refused letter reason: they did not hand in PP on time.
In the PPR, they clearly said you need to hand in your PP within 60days after receiving this letter.

Just out of curiosity, how long have you known your wife prior to your wedding? and how long have you been married to your wife when you submitted your application?

guys i am totally confused. today my ecas updated to 'in process' it says we started processing your application on nov 17. but on 3rd November they issued me a letter asking for a document and sent back all the proofs.

You mentioned they requested a document? Mind elaborating what sort?

i am just using my logic.... for your sister they want more evidences and i guess its a positive sign rather than sending a letter for interview. the officer wants more evidences to make a decision.
for your wife, may be two situations: either 1. they still havent opened the file
or, 2. they need more reviews to make a decision (interview or PPR).

they asked whether i applied for UK PR and what visa status i had in UK during ......., i have already sent the answers with photocopy of my visas.

SG does not reply to any query regarding to status of any application. thats what written in the letter which i got from them.
