Oh really! So, we have submitted our file to CIC on 24th of October 2017 means around March-April there would be any kind of movement. Hoping for the best with patience!

Take heart that the length of stages differs for everyone but we'll all get there eventually! You sent your application in a bit later than me too, for what it's worth. Here is my timeline. I think I now have the long wait ahead for the Background check.

Yes you are right it varies! well, there are 17 days gap between our submission dates. Hope any kind of movement will be happened soon. Thank you for your reply! Keep updating us!
Btw what I knew, they are sending MR after finishing BG check. Is it not so? It was not followed in your case.

Hmm, no I don't think I have had the background check yet. It says 'we will let you know when we start your background check.' Fingers crossed that you hear very soon!

Hello Sebeck, Sometimes they don't notify you when they start background check. I used to check GcKey every day and saw that suddenly one day its showing that they started my BGC and after one day its DM. Singapore visa office works in a mysterious way.

My wife's gckey says for BG "We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information". What will be next step you think? She already received pre-arrival email before BG

It should be Decision Made then Passport request . would you mind sharing your timeline ?

My timeline will be different than others because my wife needed an interview. She had her interview this March 04 & since then things are moving fast. Without interview I think it takes 6-7 months average to complete whole process but if you need interview then it takes close to 12months

Guys is anybody's have any idea roughly how long does it take to get ppr after medical.i done my medical dec18 but so far no updates?cic on the mean time even they didnt ask me for interviews or ppr.its totally frustrated.

The next step should be Decision Made as Bjohn said. So you should keep an eye on your ECAS.

Yap it says “decision made” on ecas now though I don’t see any new lines on ecas or any update on gckey but based on all feedback that’s normal. Now waiting for PPR
