Ya it’s amazing how fast they are finishing the applications.

I did hear that canadian government wants to bring 300k immigrants this year and going to increase 10k to 15k per year

Canada needs immigrants. But most ppl don’t lie immigrates. But we are all immigrants.

Yes I heard about that number before. I think the govt prefers "skilled migrants" though. I'm not sure if family sponsorship is their preferred category (spousal - maybe; parents and grandparents - definitely not).

But it's good to see the govt streamline the processes.. i'm thankful we even have the option to sponsor. I'm not sure if most countries even have a similar program..

Well after they send the application to Singapore for final processing in May
My wife got a letter in “June 5-8” for medical and Gckey was updated on “June 11” as passed. Ecas updated as “medical received”

since you have done Schedule A and PCC , next thing is Medical request . my Aor2 was on 7th Sept then i had medical request on 22nd Nov , you can just give it 3 months :) . good luck

Hi there @ojofar and @Bjohn, once again thank you for your responses (sorry for my delayed reply, btw).
Your input are really appreciated :D I guess, I'm in for the next round of this waiting game then :D

Also, just curious if you were ever asked to submit additional documents? Or did you just submit any as and when you had additional proof of relationship and/or Sponsor's support for the PA (like financial support and stuff)? Sorry for asking, just trying to see how any recent applicants have done so cause I've seen some people post about submitting additional documents without the SVO actually asking for such (but they were applicants from 2015-2016, if I'm not mistaken).

Anyway, thanks again for your help and congratulations to you both! :D:D:D

The letter AOR2 as below

Dear applicant:
This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by the Singapore Visa Office on XXX,XX 2017.
When should I contact CIC?
You must notify CIC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
 Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage

and my AOR2 18 Dec, medical request 25 Jan

Hi, @Onceagain2step! :) Thank you for sharing this! :)
Am I correct to assume that you had the same line 2 on ECAS as well?
If so, did you receive this correspondence on the same date that was stated on line 2?
Mine says they've sent it on March 1, 2018, but until today, I haven't received message on my GCKey or any email from them.:(
Should I be worried? Or is it just normal to have some delays??

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my queries :):D

Day 285: 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.'

Today I got my PPR at last :) ..... YAY!! Thanks to Almighty.

Received email this morning from Singapore. My wife got her schedule for interview on March 15-2018.

Day 286: 'Decision Made' on ecas

Gratz to all of you who got DM.

I am still waiting for mine.
They got all files, Recommend wav, appear bonafide on my gmcs and yet... it's 13 month now.

I am starting to be impatient.
The MP can't do anything, he got information from CIC in Canada and cannot help me.
