Received sponsorship approval: May 3 2011
Application received in Singapore: May 13 2011
Received CSQ approval on: July 12 2011
Singapore status on CAS: Received application on May 13 2011
No other updates from Singapore.
What I don't understand is why the Canadian Gov't suggests to you to contact Singapore for other inquiries if Singapore never answers you.
The Government should say "don't contact us we will contact you" If you expect timely service from Singapore don't! I understand that the canadian Gov't is not a corporation. Which means you pay and don't expect service. CAS is a joke and a waste of time. I only check once a month now.
I am sorry but I could not hold back my criticism any longer. I think i lasted about 20 minutes
god knows.mirjahan said:I have question why Singapore Vo does process PR application randomly?
I believe there is also a landing fee you must pay. you can wait till singapore office request for payment after they approve you. I paid mine in advance but at this point, the way they are making people wait, paying in advance just feel like a waste of money because it does not make it any faster.Canadianfirst said:I have paid the Canadian fee plus the Quebec fee what other fees am I looking at for the PR visa?
When is the best time to pay. Do I pay only when they Singapore requests it or is it best to pay in advance. BS walks and money talks even with the government ;D
Any advice
I wish to send additional supporting documents but i am bit confuse. Share your info with us if you get any info or feedback from Singapore Visa office.Canadianfirst said:This week I sent to Singapore additional information. They did not request it but I sent it any way. I sent all my bank transfer statements and phone bills. About 7 months worth. I have no idea if this will help. I intend to send to Singapore these expenses every 6 months.
My wife has a son from a previous relationship. Her X boyfriend signed an affidavit allowing his son to immigrate to Canada with her and that he would not make any other claim in the future. My lawyer at the time told me that she would most definitely go to interview because of this.
My situation is a bit complicated because we met on line through a mutual friend here in Montreal. I went to Vietnam twice. I hope that helps. Did you ever send e-mail to Singapore VO? What is your timeline.
There is a bit of an age and education gap. I am 16 years older and University graduate. She only finished elementary school. For some reason this can be interpreted as a red flag in the mind of the VO. According to Bangkokkanuck. This is a very humiliating process. I have to justify myself to these people and I have signed the undertaking. I am responsible for everything so what is their problem.
Is there anyone in a similar situation or know of someone in a similar situation?
Pay it before they even ask. Processing of this payments ussually take 3-4 weeks to process. It can shorten the waiting game a little. I paid mine without SG requesting for it.Canadianfirst said:I have paid the Canadian fee plus the Quebec fee what other fees am I looking at for the PR visa?

Not really. Every case I think is treated equal. But then again, every case is unique to each other. I am impressed with how SG processed mine and I want to see every family in this thread unite the soonest as well. IMHO no matter how complicated the case is, the presentation of evidences plays a part. We shoudn't put all the blame to the VO. We are the one who submitted the evidences, they are just playing like a Judge in a court room. They are judging us base on the merits of our cases. Anticipate the flow of the process. I did a lot of research from threads to threads.Canadianfirst said:It seem there is favouritism by CIC Singapore for those who have their spouses living in Singapore?????
