In ecas it now says "Decision Made" on the Sponsorship side, but there are no new entries when clicking it. Already knew I was approved via GCMS notes, so no big surprise here.

In other news, we applied for a TRV visa in parallel (wife and I both live in Singapore) and got a passport request so looks like it's approved (fingers crossed) So even though the PR app is taking its sweet time, at least we can go visit Canada for a short trip and my wife can finally meet my family back home.

If you apply my timeline to your situation you can expect some news in november. But every application is different maybe difficult to compare.

There is always chance for interview request until visa issued.

Decision made for the sponsor,means you have qualified financially on paper.You have just passed the easiest part of the application.

That's normal and has nothing to do with your interview. Sponsorship approval doesn't mean that CIC has waived your interview!

Couple people on the GCMS thread are trying to link ppr and PR approval to magically suddenly having DM on sponsor side.. it's misleading many people to thinking their apps are about to be approved
