Just found out my wife is pregnant with our 2nd child with our first being born last year. We weren't planning for this and in fact tried to avoid getting pregnant.

So now it complicates our sponsorship process further. I'm guessing the baby will pop out in April with her medical cert expiring in February. Don't think she would be able to fly around those dates too.

I'm hoping for an interview now seeing they haven't even peaked at our application.

Any advice from those that got pregnant while waiting for approval? I'm thinking I should e-mail Singapore VO to inform them of the pregnancy and flying problems around expected date of birth.

You only need to inform svo once the child is born if you haven't been approved by then. If she lands as PR before the child is born there is no need at all to inform CIC

You applied a month after me. I think you will have the visa well before next April.

How long after submission to SVO, will you guys get "pass" on security?


Also how long after submission to SVO, will you guys order your 1st GCMS note? We are June submission to SVO and I am note sure its good time to order one, we dont want to get disappointed to see nothing started.

Security will never show as passed. It will have s.15 (1) in the right hand corner when complete.

I ordered them directly after SA and every 30 days since.

Can any one suggest which courier service we can use to send documents from Bangladesh to Singapore if we want to send the documents to PO box address of Singapore. I know if we decide to send documents to street address of Singapore visa office we can use DHL or Fedex. Thanks

I used DHL. Make sure you drop off before the cut off time for next day delivery. It is expensive but secure and piece of mind.

I meant to say cut off time for next business day AM delivery. DHL only delivers to manned site. NO PO Box ??? ??? ???
