I was just gonna ask how do you get the plus points but the good bad points just appeared after my last post.

However anyone knows what's the timeline of getting PR card after landing. Years ago it used to be 1-2 weeks. Heard it went up by months now

I was a Member, and i just finished updating personal information.

I hope one morning, when each one of us wake up and check and see familiar In Process line was converted into Decision Made. Of course, will then together with passport requirements

Hi Everyone,

I am asking this question on behalf of my friend, she is also processed in SVO. Hope you guys could share your valuable opinions.

SVO started processing my friend's application on Nov 30th 2015. She had not received any further correspondence until June 7, 2016, when the VO updated her ECAS: We sent you correspondence on June 7, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Yesterday, June 14, 2016, she received the mail from the VO with all of her evidence, without any request. I guess the mail with the request was sent separately and told her to wait until the weekend. After that, if not receive any mail, immediately send the VO an email, as well as create a Case Specific Enquiry as well. Please note that her medical exam expires on June 19, 2016, therefore, I think, the request can be an urgent PPR because VO can extend the medical if it is not 15 months old.

Please share your thought of this situation.

My bet would be medical request then passport request. And they sent back all the evidence because eligibility and everythingelse is done except medical.

Thank you Shineon39. I have also mentioned the possibility of medical request to my friend as well. She actually has booked for the medical appointment and been waiting for the request from SVO. My concern is that, is it common when the VO sends the evidence and the request in separate mails? It has to be at least in this case since she received everything, but the request - the most important one.

I tend to agree with Shineon on this one. The good thing about that is she will have longer to land once she completes re-med.

The fact that the update says "we sent you correspondence" and not "we sent you a letter" is a good sign.

I know it's possible to extend medical but I think that they dont like it. And remember on our ppr we both had an urgent mention for medical expired at xx-xx-xxxx. If connot land before dont send passport bla bla bla.

Indeed like you said if the communication is via email. Other friend of mine received the request through email, and evidence through snail-mail.

However, in this case, my friend told me she put her email in the application, but VO has been sending everything through mail. Reading through our forum, I have seen some cases with the same issue. Anyway, I told her to double check her spam and deleted-item folders of her email, but nothing there.
