And received a request of Passport, it is fast

My case, I sent my application on Sept 11 2015
I received the AOR on Oct 29 2015

How long should I have the approval of sponsorship?
After your AOR, you received any special request?

As per my opinion you should get SA by November and file should be transferred to Overseas Visa Office by that time. Good Luck

Today Ecas PR status has been changed to "Decision Made" . What a relief .

I am living in Montreal, Quebec.
As I know that my spouse has to apply for an CSQ.

I am curious about CIC will approve and transfer the file right away,
or wait for the province of Quebec.

My concern about the timeline will get longer.

In my case:

-If your sponsorship application is approved, CIC will notify you by letter or email inviting you to continue the process by submitting an undertaking application to the MICC ( MICC – ministry of immigration and cultural communities ) of the province of Quebec.
-CSQ: Certificat de sélection du Québec

Ah, may I see how the steps the CIC notify you, the online communication if you do not mind ?

We did the Med's request. Currently, we are waiting.

Yaa cic will send you a letter to apply for csq. Normally MICC takes one month for csq. MICC will send one copy to Singapore visa office and two copy to you. Your spous will need them at Montreal airport. Maybe Singapore will request your spous to send CSQ. Singapore visa office requested me for csq. I sent photocopy of them. Don't send original copy if they request you for CSQ because you will need them at airport

I figured we have enough number of people who have submitted their applications and are waiting. I guess its a good idea to start our own thread. This will give us an idea of our time lines and help each other. Wait times for Singapore seems to be really very long.
Mine is in process since September 28, no word from CHC-S yet
