I received the CIC letter today. They request for re-medical, police certificate for both Malaysia and Singapore and passport submission. In the letter, it said I must submit all documents within 60 days. However, the processing time for Malaysia police certificate is 2 months. If that's the case, it is exceeded the submission timeline of CIC.

I need some guidance here. Thank you in advance.

62 days since Singapore took my passport and sitting on it Sigh

Since you are a Malaysian citizen, they may process your passport faster.
But for us Bangladeshi citizens, on average it is taking around 60 days.

Has your status Change or still it in processing ......r u email them or contact with the vsf office because maybe I am on the same boat I am very very worried

But for us Bangladeshi citizens, on average it is taking around 60 days.

Our application went into in Process on July 28, 2014.

Wow! I sure hope they continue this trend. Could you briefly tell us relationship length and why so fast? Looks like yours was viewed once and then decided all criteria met. And no re-medical will be needed either. You could have PPR in 5-6 weeks.

It is a settle marriage, parents/relative introduce us then we talked over phone and Skype, then went to Bangladesh married and afterward see each other , all relatives, neighbours etc attended wedding, send all pictures and documents to SVO, filled up forms rightly.

I am not sure about Malaysia. But one of the Thai applicant, sent passport from Thailand, in June. And she got it with in 15 days.
She sent almost 2 weeks after me, and got passport in another 2 weeks.

And here I am 63 days & counting.

Oh its been 2 weeks for me for passport returning.. Looks like different from Thailand too.. :-X

It really depends on your case officer. Each have their own style of how they proceed during the week. I can tell you there are 6 others, recently, who posted they got PPR between 60-66 days after submitting passport. Not many over 66 days though. I know you are keeping track as I am. I really think you will have by this week. Hang in there buddy.

Btw, did you ever check ECAS? Does experience class applications have the same updates as spousal? Such as in- process and decision made? Not sure if you have Decision Made yet.

Yah I have Decision Made, since May 13th. For CEC program, they send PPR email, then with 2-3 days it becomes Decision Made on ECAS automatically. Without even sending passport we got Decision Made.

But that was processed in Ottawa. Everything was processed on Ottawa. Only the passport printing was left. Since I am in Bangladesh, I asked to print it in Singapore (not in Ottawa - they take 10 days to print visa in Ottawa). And that was my mistake.

After PPR that means most of the processes are complete and that is why they asked for your passport. Yet some times they wait on background checks or other stuffs.

Anyways it is 60 days (+/- few days) now. And I just have to bite it and wait! :-\

They received on 3rd June - they released on 29th July. 57 days total.

Few more days then it will be the time to know the truth.
I can not even express how nervous I am feeling right now. :-\

It's weird, I can think of two words what everyone may experience before the very last step.... Anxious or nervous. I hope I would feel like a kid on Christmas eve... Desperately wanting the morning to arrive. As opposed to, desperately wanting a job and at final interview. I would guess most would pick the latter, hence why you feel nervous. I will think about this when our time comes. Haha.

Yah. I have waited to hear this for so long. But once I got the update, it feels like I do not want to go to VFS and pick up that package.

Human psychology is truly astounding.
