I am confused. Why did they ask for full Medical?

I didn't order my gcms notes, so I am still not sure about the interview.

I thought that, if they are ready to give visa, then they usually ask for medical extension which is only doing the chest x-ray. But, if they are asking for full medical, then I don't know what to think.

Hi Goodman36 & samkh: My wife also received the exact same email yesterday! I am now thinking, they might ask for updated police certificate and Passport (PPR) at the same mail next time. What do you think ?

Well, if they needed the police certificate I don't understand why, they wouldn't ask for it now.

The thing is if we had similar experiences by other applicant, we would have a better idea.

Congratulations..!!!!
A lot of good news today....... hope medical going to be the last step as I believe.
About police certificate I am sure they don't ask for update if you submitted first at the CIC.
Because Police certificates do not have any expiration except for some countries. however if your Police certificate has expiry date Immigration really does not care about that and usually does not ask for new one.Beside that at this step I believe the applicant must pass the security level of immigration.

Hey SingaporeVO & Samkh, did you looked at the Form IMM 1017E that they send in the e-mail?

In my wife's pre-filled form that she is supposed to take it to the doctor, they wrote the phone number wrong (her name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, file # etc. are all correct). I don't know where did they got that phone number (it is a Toronto number but no digits match my number). So, I asked my wife to cross it and write my correct phone number. Do you think that should be ok?

Hi Davidsuchet: I wish you are right. Getting police certificate is not always a fun. Too much bureaucracy and corruption in some countries like mine.

Hey goodman36: I won't worry about phone number since they will never call anybody! I found the old phone number on my wife's Form IMM1017E, which she changed months ago, and she updated the phone number through an email to CIC Singapore long ago; but they didn't bother to change it. Crossing off the wrong phone number is not a bad idea though.

Hi diyabrar: Didn't they ask for your spouse's re-medical, if it was expired already ?? I remember, you mentioned in one of your posts about your GCMS report that, Eligibility: Recommend Passed. The Initial Review was done. Waiting for final review and decision. Isn't it right ? PLEASE verify if I am not wrong.

Could you please update your timeline on the top left corner. Thanks in advance.
