Hi AKHI & Tuntuni: I understand your frustrations! However, Vietnam and other 10 countries including Bangladesh are considered as 3rd world countries too. But what are the differences between B'desh and other countries (that processes application in Singapore) ? Political and Commercial relation between countries affect a lot in diplomatic and other issues. Surprisingly, you may NOT believe (arguably) that Vietnam has way better relation with Canada than B'desh, if you follow the diplomatic news for the past few years!! In addition, lots of Vietnamese applicants also suffers a long waiting if you really keep tracking them in this forum... You can easily see that China and India get better treatment in regards to Visa issuing, although most of the fraud marriages occur in these two countries among all over the world. Hope this makes little sense. Please don't take this otherwise because Reality is always bitter in taste. Thank you.

Hi there, Can anyone please tell me what received date you see in your E-case? It should be file received in CIC or file received date in SVO? I am little confused about my ecase displaying date. In my case it is showing SVO rcved date.

1. When I login with my application number I got the following info (with application received link) with the application received date as SVO received date (not the CIC rcv date):

We received your application for permanent residence on August xx, 2012.
Medical results have been received.

2. When I login with my husband UCI number I got the following info (with application received link) with the application received date as SVO received date (not the CIC rcv date):

We received xxx's application for permanent residence on August xx, 2012.
Medical results have been received.

3. With Decision made link I saw the following info:

We received your application to sponsor xxx on August 16, 2012.
We sent you a letter on August 09, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Thank you so much for your help in advance.

the date is the day they received your package....

did you send them your videos? because they mention that do not send any videos or cd or tape, just paper like photos, documents.
Anyway sending back the deviance is a good sign

no, not yet. officers usually keep some of evidences as a proof of relationship in our records and send back rest of them.
