awww how sweet you are right we feel more mature and responsible somehow because things are different, we have full responsibility of our little angels 24/7 and that feeling is just amazing. Yes, usually baby girl luvs their father more than their mommy XD but its all good Inshallah your little girl & you will be united to your husband very very soon and once you'll be united she will still miss him everyday until he gets back from work

so looked at ecas today as i do every Wednesday and it has changed to in process as of jan 18/2013 but no emails as of yet from them

Anyone know roughly how long after going in process before you hear anything?


I was going to send some more pictures ect to Singapore as the wife is here in Canada with me on a tourist visa but figured I had till april or so to do this now I am thinking I should send it tomorrow... ill do a search but in case I cant find the info does anyone know where and to who's attention I would send it?

Hey Congrats! In process is a good sign. Well it depends on the case on how long it may take after in process status. Many ppl got ppr request within 3-4 months. so hope it comes soon for u.

about sending additional info u should make a package and send it to canadian high commision in singapore. The address is on SVOs website. U dont need to address any person but just put visa office name on the envelope. Well dont forget to write ur name file number UCI no on the package. Sending more proofs is good. Although they will not inform u about recieving of the mail. Hope this info helps n good luck

So glad I found this thread. I have some questions, please help.
When we made an online payment for my PR application fees, we paid CAD 1090. that included Sponsorship application CAD 50, but Canada Immigration refunded CAD 50 to us. How much are the fees altogether?

hi,
i've been reading these posts all day today. i applied to the Singapore office and just checked my ecase file and my application has just changed to "in process" our application was received april 10, 2012 and we haven't heard anything from them since then, so this was very exciting to see a change in status. just wondering what have been your experiences after seeing this new status. did most of you hear from them shortly afterwards and did they ask for anything more from you in terms of documents? i live with my wife who is my sponsor and we have a child. what can i expect now? i did my medical exam months and months ago even before we applied. this is what my ecase timeline says:

"We received your application for permanent residence on April 10, 2012.

We started processing your application on December 31, 2012.

Medical results have been received."

well, they have updated our address and said to wait until they write to us about whether or not they will need any additional documents. our status says "medical results received" but we are sure they have expired, so does that mean they will probably ask for updated ones? anyone have any insight on this? also, we are wondering has anyone had an interview after their status has been changed to "in process"?
