MY application was received by mississauga on dec 7 2011
Got approval letter on feb 2 2012 ( by email)
Went in process Oct 22 2012
Gt a letter from Singapore asking for additional info ( re medical, police clearance and 4 passport photos) on nov 27 2012. They also sent back all the pictures and some documents tht we sent back in Dec.
hopefully will b sending the docs very soon ( waiting for police clearance)
Hi Pari! Congrats on getting this far! I received the same package on the 27th of November requesting for the same items. I also have the request to submit 4 photos with the size specifications given in the "Photo Specifications" paper. It requested to write the name and DOB on ONLY 1 PHOTO in EACH set. So, write on the back of only 1 photo in your set of 4.Pari12 said:Hi everyone!
Recently (Nov 27) my husband got a letter from Singapore asking for additional information.
They asked for 1. re do medical
2. re do police clearance
3. 4 recent passport photos ( taken within the last 3 months).please write on only one of the photos in each set the name and date of birth of the person appearing in the photo.appendix C is attached with it and below that page it is written to submit 3 photos ( immigration photos?)
I am a little confuse about whether to send 4 passport photos or 3 immigration photos and also do I only have to write the name and date of birth on the back of only one of the photo or all of them?
Can someone please help??
Thank you
Read the back of the first page. Mine has instructions on submitting my passport(s). Attached with it is APPENDIX A. Appendix A is the form you fill up and submit together with the passport. Are you sure it is not in there?CTC027 said:Like everyone else, my wife received the same package on Nov 22nd requesting for re-med, police clearance check and photos. Why is that SVO don't request for passport as well? Does anyone know?
Hi Pari! On my cover document requesting my re-medical, police clearance, passport, etc; The paragraph that requests the photos state: 4 recent passport-sized photos, taken within the last 3 months, of yourself (photo specifications are attached).Pari12 said:thanks HunterV and Congrats to you too
Actually on the lettter (case status/additional information required) it says
" 4 recent passport photos ( taken within last 3 months) of yourself and your dependants ( see attached instructions). please write only one of the photos in each set the name and date of birth of the person appearing in the photo. Please do not staple your photographs."
Then i have another page ( Appendix C- photo specification) where it says immigration photos are not the same as passport photos and basically it explains how to take the photo with the right measurement.
At the end of that page it is written
" Please submit 3 photos of the above specification, taken within the last 3 months, of yourself and/or dependant(s) included in your application."
Thats where i am a little confuse but i think i will ask my husband to send 4 photos of each as i do not want to take any risk and delay more. Do u think if we send more than what we are asked, it will cause any problem? :S

Hi Bluenoser. When you say you're NOT allowed to submit in person, were you going directly to the Singapore VO? Were you based in Singapore?Bluenoser said:Just a note about submitting passports - we WERE NOT allowed to submit in person. The PPR letter did not list that as an option. I emailed them to ask if we could and they said no. We send by Fedex instead. The passport got there on the 28th and they emailed me back on the 30th saying that it was ready, offering to send by courier or registered mail. If you don't reply to the email within 5 business days they send by registered mail. We opted to go the Fedex route, which involves applying for an account with Fedex. Once you have a Fedex account number you email them the account number and the name on the account, along with the address to ship it to, and they call Fedex to arrange for the pickup using your account. Your account gets billed for the charges. I think this applies to all countries except Bangladesh, which was not listed on the PPR letter.
