hi all i am trying to sponser my wife from bangladesh. i recieved letter from cpc and the file went to singapore and started processing on september 24, any idea on how long singapore takes now a days? we sent all pape works i.e marriqge cert, pictures, police clearence, med exam. thank you so much.

are there any advantages to using an immigration lawyer?

If your case is straight forward and uncomplicated, I do not believe that using an immigration lawyer is advantageous, just read and follow the directions carefully.

Hey ZZZ.. I am also fron Bangladesh and sponsored by my wife who is a Canadian Citizen. My timeline is very similar to you coz Singapore also started processing my file from 23rd september. We also had sent all documents like PC, medical stuffs , Marraige crt and wedding, reception, engagement and gaye holud pics in total 15. My Ecas updated this month and showing In processing there under my PR status. Since then I havent got any update from them.

If u get any update plz share with us. Since our timeline is very similar so we can communicate better about our processing.

hi sadatul does your spouse have the new digital passport? does it matter if its digital or the old one?

Nope i dont have digital passport and i dont think its gonna make any problem. Because this digital one had come in BD after our submission of this application and may not applicable for us.

BTW did u send any email to singapore? I have sent them twice and i got reply both of them. However i sent an email 2 days earlier asking the condition of my medical cert and until now i dont have any reply frm them.

no i didnt email them. what did you ask them when u emailed them? what was their reply? is it a good idea?

I asked them about our processing time, How long it may take to process our file and they replied they cant estimate the time and in replying that they have sent us our File number that starts with B following 9 digits. And now I have asked them to know whether they got our medical crt or not. I hope this time they reply.

I have another question to you regarding that additional family information form. They were asked us to write in our native language as well as English but i wrote our name only in English. What did u write? Will that be huge problem?

oh we did the same on our application but we use english on almost all official matters so i dont think i would be an issue at all.

Sadatul can u please give me the email address that you asked them questions at. Did u get any letter from singapore yet with that Bxxxxxxx id number? Do you think our applications will be done before january? My wife wants to start university asap.
