shiny hold on for a little longer. our timelines are similar.. u got ur file transferred beginning in march, 2 months after ours did. we got the interview letter around the same time.. august/october. they finally called him for an interview. it was a 2 weeks notice but he didnt check his email but i got to know about it 3 days after they had sent him an email, i got to know because ecas updated. based on the similarity of our situation i would think u would be hearing for an interview in march/april at the latest.. so hang in there

although i do think the time apart gives us unnecessary pain and i completely understand where you are standing. we got married really quickly as in it was a very quick decision. i am re-thinking about our marriage as a whole, everyone else seems to think its because we have been away from each other but i think otherwise. in any case, good luck to everyone.

Hey , your hubby had his interview yet or still waiting for the day to come, you havent mentioned the date so i was just wondering.Hope everything goes well.

If you send e-mail to local mp it is not helpful. Your have to go to them. I have friend sister went to see local MP for her case status , their office took her photocopy of her Sponsor Approval and CSQ certificate ( CSQ only for Quebec). And BFD always 12 months they day of VO aboard receive the application. For Bangladesh wait interview is about 5-7 months. I think you can wait bit more and wait for your GCMS notes. GCMS notes takes 30 days after receive the request. I am waiting for my wife passport, i hope soon i will get this.,

Oh i havent read anywhere that the bforward date is after 12months?!Where did you get that information from. Well if that is the case, than they received the app on march 17, so you think we will get news by the middle of this month.lets hope you are correct hehehe.Its been almost 5months so i guess by end april we should be expecting the second letter. So i guess you are preparing to go to bd, and if your wife passport and medical is not expired than she can come here as soon as she gets the visa.YEEPIII!

Just letting you guys know that our ECAS has just changed (yesterday) from "Application Received" to "In Process". As you may remember my wife had her interview back in January and I posted about it. Our ECAS reads like this:

We received ***** ***** application for permanent residence on June 9, 2011.

We started processing ***** ***** application on March 2, 2012.

***** ***** interview is January 16, 2012.

I have talked to someone else who had their interview here in Thailand the same week we did (on the 20th, so 4 days after ours) and their ECAS has already shown "Decision Made" and that was 2 weeks ago that theirs said that. She told me that her application just went from "Application Received" to "Decision Made" without ever going to "In Process".

Not sure what to make of all this. Any thoughts?

If had interview and goes Application Received to Decision Made then it could be refuse. It is possible but i can not say 100%.
If had interview IN Process and goes Dm then it is positive.

My wife received a confirmation letter for PR yesterday. It is advised her to submit passport and enclosed form appendix A&B to the High Commission of Canada in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Is this normal process of receiving PR visa from Dhaka office? I used to think that she needs to send passport to Singapore and Singapore will issue visa and mail it to her. I would appreciate if you share your thoughts.

She will fill up appendix B and submit passport to CHC Dhaka to get visa stamp from Singapore. Still you can send passport to Singapore Vo and it will be your own risk and cost.
To get visa with stamp it will take 4-8 weeks.

i'm thinking to apply for my wife temporary work visa, i have same LMO and job offer from my work place...

why they are asking for my passport(Sponsor)?
Where they want me to submit the passport?

My wife did not receive any letter or anything from SG visa office to submit passport.

My e-cas went to IN Process on Feb 1, 2012

I dont think applying for work visa would be a good idea as you are still waiting for PR, and on the interview queue, we might get schedule of the interview in less than 2months i would say. Maybe you should apply for Caips for now. You dont wanna apply for work visa then even tho she comes here i guess she gotta go back to bangladesh and do the interview,medical and stuff and come back here and land as a PR. Lets see... people say for Bangladesh the interview is in about 5 to 7months, so for us its been almost 5months, lets wait 2more months and see...
