After 6 months finally got some updates from Singapore VO. Our eligibility is completed but background check has not started yet on the new tracker. GC key says eligibility in progress and background check not started. Received pre-arival letter today as well.

I submitted my passport on November 24, 2022. At the same day I got notification from VFS Singapore that they received it. Then I got another notification from VFS Singapore that IRCC Singapore received my passport the next day. This morning at 7.00 am (November 29, 2022) I received email directly from IRCC to notify me that they received my documents. I will purchase the ticket once I get my passport back and perform my first landing on mid-January 2023. Will keep you posted on the updates. Did you get any updates from VFS or IRCC (SGVO)?

I submitted my passport on November 24, 2022. At the same day I got notification from VFS Singapore that they received it. Then I got another notification from VFS Singapore that IRCC Singapore received my passport the next day. This morning at 7.00 am (November 29, 2022) I received email directly from IRCC to notify me that they received my documents. I will purchase the ticket once I get my passport back and perform my first landing on mid-January 2023. Will keep you posted on the updates. Did you get any updates from VFS or IRCC (SGVO)?

I sent ours on the 27th. My tracker updated the same day saying they received our passport and pictures. VFS emailed us the same day saying it is in transit to IRCC office Singapore. Nothing after that.

Biometrics, Medical and then waiting for eligibility and background check to complete. Approximately 6-8 months after medical has been completed with the current wait time.

VFS emailed me yesterday that my passport is ready for collection. As my flight will be in January 2023, so I'm not in a rush. I'll go to VFS office tomorrow to get it.

In my case it took 5 months to receive PPR after medical exam. I know this waiting game is hard, just be patient. Good luck!
