Singapore - Spousal Sponsorship taken already more then 2 years :( :(

Hello,
I applied for my wife in a spousal sponsorship (outland) category in August 2014. The file is still in process at the Singapore embassy.

The file status shows in process and its been like that since November 2014.
I have contracted few times to the Singapore embassy.

All I get as an answer from them is the file in process. During this long wait, they asked for the communication documents between me and my wife for past one year. I have already sent the chat massages and the picture of my last visit to my wife. Now its been 5 months again as of today since I sent those documents to them. Still I am waiting for a result for my case.

Can anyone please suggest me what can I do now or what steps can I take as its been really long time.

Hey paul2016,

i'm so sorry to hear about your wait. If i were you the first thing i'd do is to contact your local MP and ask them to look into it. Your case seems to be we well above normal processing times. Send another CSE to the Singapore VO and also maybe make an ATIP request to see if there's anything holding up the file. I know it sucks to just wait without knowing anything so do these things first and hopefully it stirs something up.

Please order your GCMS notes via ATIP asap.

Why haven't you ordered the GCMS notes as suggested above?

If it's taking this long, it's likely you're on an interview queue. You really need to find out because if you miss the date, and it seems like you're really close to missing it, then your app will be refused

Without ordering GCMS notes ,they do not email us for anyrequirements or any paper or any interview queue????

They never asked for interview. I already contacted the local MP few times before during this past two years time and the MP office told me last time that its waiting for final review or background check.
After that singapore office asked for the communication between me and my wife. I sent those documents already and its been 5 months now.
Then I also emailed singapore office and they told me that they got all the documents they needed. That's it.
Haven't heard anything after that.

I got the GCMS notes and its showing that illegibility passed in 2015 but background check not started yet. Contacted the visa office in singapore again and they responded that they will ask for information regarding my Status (status of sponsor). anyone has any idea ?
Also they updated on the file that we are reviewing your eligibility.
