SINGAPORE/ Interview waiting timeline

I was wondering how many of you dealing with singapore visa office received the first interview letter and are still waiting.And those who already had and attended their interview after how long you received the second letter confirming date&time.

I wanted to have an idea about the average waiting time. Thanks :

Hi Shiny.

Singapore recieved our application March 2011.
They looked into our application in Oct 2011.
My wife recieved interview letter in Nov 2011(dated Oct 2011) claiming a 24 month wait...and that we are outside of normal processing standards.
In May 2012 my MP informed me that our interview would take place sometime in 2013.

I see no 'dealing' here.lol

Neither previously married, no kids, no criminality.

It took Singapore 7 months to look at your file and ask for interview? I thought they ask for interview immediately !

ME and Hello121 is the same timeline singapore received app in March 2011 and received interview letter dating 19october. 7months for me also.
So october to May ,7months waiting for the interview still no news.

am i lucky or something wrong goes on your application (as, not sufficient evidence to prove the marriage)?
i received my first letter on Jan 25, 2012 which i filled out and send back to Singapore on Feb 28, 2012. i received
my second letter already 2 weeks before on 17th asking me to go for medical directly and submitting RPRF Receipt,
5 photos and police clearance of bangladesh to singapore.

seems fast to me. i assume they put you out of the normal process as you're listed for interviews. but its really terrible
listening that it could take up to 24 months.

i think we are not in the same category. my wife is principal PR applicant (In-land) and i'm included as spouse. our CPC is Vegreville and CHC Singapore is processing my papers for the PR.

yes, i sent pictures proofs on a memory card not knowing they dont check electronic device, couldnt provide them communication proofs as i used to use calling cards before applying for pr.So i am very unlucky, applied in feb 2011 ,interview letter received october 2011 and still waiting,very desperate...

Are we here to help each other sharing our situation and experience or just pinch each other trying to be over-smart! i don't believe you send a memory card as your photo proofs, so what is this all about?

thank u, before aplying and while applying i didnt research about how to apply what i need to send, what is acceptable and what not.I didnt think the process would be that difficult and serious about every single details. i was just thinking am a citizen,clean and i wanna bring my husband to me to start our life. But when it started to take months and months without news i started to wonder about whats going on,started to make research about the process and all and found this forum and learn a lot of things i didnt know while applying, i share my knowledge and my thoughts with others.So but if i would use my brain and would find this forum then maybe i wouldnt be in the interview list.sad and desperate if i can advise or help or share with others what i know or what others can teach me it makes my day.
