Singapore COC (Police Certificate)

Hi,

Did someone (non-singapore citizen) use the link below to apply for Singapore COC? or is it something new?

Moreover, I submitted the COC from Singapore Police along with the PR application back in March, 2013 and then moved to Canada in July 2013 within 3-4 months of issuance of Police Certificate.
Now with Medical Exam request, I have been asked to submit updated Singapore COC (standard letter mentioning .. to be submitted if the earlier COC is not older than an year).

I have written to Singapore visa office to clarify whether I am still required to submit new COC despite the fact that we left Singapore 3-4 months after issuance of COC and that we are now in Canada for the last 3 years ..

What do you think? Any advice? (I got to send the docs within 30 days)

Hi! COC is valid only for 1 year from the date of issue. You need to obtain again an updated COC
You can apply Online now it's pretty much easier than last time that is walk-in. Just a gentle advice make sure you pay in Singapore currency

and regarding your advice for payment in SG dollars, I have not filled the online form yet but will not the payment be automatically adjusted to singapore dollars?

Yes that is correct.

I had encounter one gentlemen in the police office during my fingerprint schedule. He paid in Canadian currency by bank draft so his application can't be process.

I have to submit Singapore COC for myself and my spouse. As you mentioned we can apply online as well to get the COC. Can you please clarify my doubts below.

1) As I am a non Singaporean citizen I have to submit an appeal form first right? Should I need to submit another application of COC once my appeal will successful or only appeal application is okay to get the COC? If I need to do both applications, Should I need to send a copy of fingerprint expression two times by mail?
2) Should I need to submit my wife's application separately or I can mention it in my application only?

Anyone applied for the Singapore COC via the online portal recently? Do you know how long it takes to get the Appeal approved? (so that I can go ahead and apply for the COC).

Hello everyone, I am applying for Singapore COC and currently residing now outside the country and also a non-Singaporean. May I know what should we put in the Residential and Postal address? We wanted our friend to pick it up so please help what we can do to go ahead with this. Thanks!
