Thats a good plan. But do you think they will decline my application as incomplete?
Of course I cannot guarantee anything, but I don't think they would.

My husband had to fly to Singapore to get his COC, because he didn't have his FIN. He went to the Canadian embassy and the embassy staff recommended him doing exactly this.

my fingerprints were received on Monday (4 Sept) and I have time until 2017/10/17. The officer at SPF told me that it will take another two weeks to finalise my PCC results. If they post it after two weeks, I am not sure if it will reach my place in Canada before 17th Oct. A regular post will take about a month or so. But some say that it may take more than a month. unfortunately, spf dont send their items through courier. for someone like me who do not have anyone in Singapore to receive and send it thru courier, it is quite not possible to receive it on time.

Any advice on how to handle this if I don't get the PCC on time?
Just wondering, did your appliation status got changed after the courier delivered your fingerprints? I think mine got deliverd on Sept 04 as well but it still says "Accepted, Pending Finger Print".

If you apply with ITA and it's rejected, do you pay again for COC when you have letter from CIC?

You mean your appeal was rejected with ITA? A lot of forum members here in this thread were getting their CoCs with ITA. I sent my appeal with ITA taking advice from this forum and it got accepted and I am waiting for them to accept my fingerprint form.

Hi Raja,

You don't make a payment during appeal. Payment is made when appeal is accepted and you make an application. If appeal is accepted, there shouldn't be any reason for the application to get rejected and you can safely make the payment.

Yes it will be that way - start date of stay until date of issue - since Singapore is your country of residence the PCC is valid for 6 months from date of issue

You have another option - if you send a prepaid airway bill to SPF they can depstach your document by courier - they will do this but the issue is getting them over phone or email is a pain and they are very slow. You can try this though

Great thanks

Aug 2 - Appeal Submitted
Aug 9 - Appeal Approved
Aug 11 - Fingerprints Delivered
Aug 15 - Status changed to In Progress
Aug 23 - PCC Desptached (Singapore Address)
Aug 28 - PCC Delivered
Thanks, mine just turned "In Progress" today so hopefully I get it approved in another 10 days or so!
