anyone here who used DBS for PoF?i was able to get bank cert but the 6 months balance is not included on the letter. im thinking of just providing my e-statement of account..anyone did that?

requesting a statement of account from dbs would cost 20 dollars per month...is estatement acceptable?

I requested 6 letters from DBS, each with the closing balance as of the end of the past 6 months. Paid $120+GST so it's definitely not cheap.

I found Standard Chartered Bank to be the most lenient in these letters: they let you choose the account you wish to report, the info you wish to let them know, and you can provide the extras (such as closing balances of the past 6 months) for them to add. All those info in 1 letter that costs $20+GST. So for those who are waiting to get picked from the pool, you might want to explore SCB for this matter.
(Disclaimer: I do not work for SCB, nor do I have any interest, business or otherwise, in the company)

The same with OCBC, $20 for each month but you get 2 months free. They also have a letter of reference that states the opening date, account type and current balance. This one is $30.

is the estatement not acceptable?i get my monthly statement of account sent on my email every month. spending 120 dollars on statement of account is not cheap.

No. It must be signed and stamped. I went to Toa Payoh branch, where I opened my account, got it the next day.

Statements (e- or otherwise) can be forged and hence do not carry as much weight as a letter signed and stamped by the bank and its staff.

I would recommend going for the proper letter considering you've probably spend about 1k (and another 1k in the coming weeks) on the application a mere $120 seem little.

Just my 2 cents...

Finally patience paid off. Got ppr today after 14 months of waiting. Thank you all for being with me the whole period of time. Pray for a speedy ppr to all.

Congrats! 14 months is not too bad considering it is a PNP.

SGVO is asking me to pay processing fees and RPRF for my wife to add her to my application by email. Shouldn't they ask me to pay through correspondence with my EE profile? What's going on?

Hello guys,

For those who applied for Singapore PR before & got rejected, what do you answer for the following statutory question in CIC application form?

"Has XXX been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?"

Answer 'Yes', give details and attach the rejection letter from ICA if you still have it.

My Application got approved yesterday on 29/3/17 and my passport has been dispatched this morning.

just cam from posb, they said since i have the estatements, there is no need to ask them to print my statement of account and be charged $20 per month...they just asked me to print my estatement and they will stamp it for me,free of charge.
