Dear Seniors,

I would like to get your advise. 2 days ago, I took my son to have medical check and found out that DOB of my son was incorrect. At that time, I asked visa coordinator at clinic to correct DOB of my son and I will proceed the change of DOB on passport with custom officer at my home country.

Today, I am informed that following new rules in my country, change in DOB will result in the new passport with new number. Unfortunately, the visa coordinator at clinic already submitted the eMedical report form of my son with the old passport number to CIC?

Is it possible for me to make explanation to CIC and it it a big deal which might lead to rejection for PRP?

FYI, i intend to apply PRP through Singapore offices in October.

Anyone knows the email address of SGVO, could you please share it to me? i would like to write to them asking for the status of my file. Thanks in advance.

Don't get your hopes too high in expecting a reply though. I emailed them over 1 month ago, and no reply. They're like that. Lazy and hopeless.

Thanks, i also wrote to the email address you mentioned last month, still did not get any reply. That's why i thought they are using another email address.

Hi guys
Any update for applicants under SG VO?
Mine got transferred around mid-May to SG VO. March AOR, no updates at all.

Hi @collarcork, do you have any updates on your application? I notice we have same timeline. AOR in March and file transferred to SGVO in May.

Hi everyone,

I just tweeted an Open Letter to the Canadian High Commissioner in Singapore, Lynn McDonald. The letter is here:

Please feel free to go like the letter posted on my Facebook page, so that she knows many of us are suffering as a result of SGVO's lack of efficiency.

Dear ybjianada, your idea was great but i am afraid that Lynn McDonald may not be aware of this letter as you are posting on your own page.

Thanks. I tweeted the link to her. Hopefully, she clicked on it and read it.

But I also noticed that someone else (from a whatsapp group for SGVO applicants) took a screenshot of the letter and tweeted the picture to her. So, hopefully she read it either way.

Hi guyz. I am going to touch 10 months mark on 1st November. Most surprisingly today I received a mail from sgvo although I didn't raise any cse or mail to sgvo. They stated apologies for the delay and put my file in the priority list. Besides they asked for another 4-6 weeks time. I am surprised. Did anyone of you receive such type of mail?
